Talks Continue
After President Trump made the surprise announcement 48 hours ago that the United States was negotiating a deal with Iran to end the conflict in the Middle East, Big Media stopped just short of accusing the president of lying to the American people.
“Well, there’s really no way to know whether any talks are actually happening or not,” the talking heads told us. “Trump said they were. But Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who was a Boy Scout growing up (NOT) and is known for his trustworthiness (NOT), said they are no negotiations. So how can we in the media figure it out?”
It is breathtaking that the American media, which enjoy more press freedom than virtually any other media in the world, have such disdain for the country they live in and disdain for anybody who wants to protect and preserve it. Whole psychology books could be written about this self-destructive impulse.
The regime they’re putting on an equal moral level with the United States of America just executed a young Iranian wrestler who was a national hero because of his athletic prowess. But he took part in a demonstration against the regime, so they publicly hanged him.
Several members of the Iranian women’s soccer team were so intimidated by the regime’s threats against their families back in Iran that most of these young women folded under the pressure, gave up offers of asylum in Australia, and returned home. Now, analysts are saying it is very possible, even likely, that some of them will face severe punishment. And yet American feminists still can’t bring themselves to say a word.
What possibly could be wrong with turning the Middle East over to the tender mercies of the radical Iranian regime? That’s what the Obama/Biden policy was. They believed Iran was destined to become a regional superpower, so why try to resist it?
It’s challenging for average Americans to figure out what to believe when Big Media treats the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism as morally equivalent to the United States.
Well, the Associated Press and the New York Times have now confirmed that negotiations between Iran and the United States were in fact taking place. Unfortunately, the Iranian regime has rejected President Trump’s ceasefire deal, but that is proof that talks are happening.
No Deal
Members of Congress thought they had a deal yesterday to end the Schumer/Democrat shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security. But as the day went on, support for the deal evaporated. There are also credible reports and limited polling that indicate the American public blames Republicans more for this funding debacle. If discernment is lacking this much, it’s difficult to see how we can save the country.
On a related note, 57% of Americans think we are losing the conflict with Iran. We’ve eliminated the regime’s senior leadership, destroyed their nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs, decimated their military, and sank their navy.
Has it been so long since America won a war that we don’t even know what winning looks like anymore?
Grateful Travelers
Thank God there are videos all over social media of real Americans, instead of leftist idiots, interacting with federal immigration police at airports across the country. It’s all very positive. Travelers are grateful that they are there trying to help. Our federal immigration police are being reminded that millions of Americans support them.
I’m going to call Senator Schumer’s office and Congressman Jeffries’ office later today. It must be difficult for them to keep track of it all. But I thought they should know that our federal immigration police have not opened fire on anybody at the airports, which is what both men suggested would happen.
By the way, Delta suspended its special perks for members of Congress and their staff due to the ongoing Schumer/Democrat shutdown. Every airline should follow Delta’s example.
And while we’re at it, let’s suspend salaries for members of Congress whenever the government shuts down. If airport police have to work without pay, politicians should, too!
Left-wing Lunacy
Nothing is more American than mom and apple pie, right? Not if you’re a far-left Deep State operative. The Biden CIA produced a report that linked “motherhood and homemaking” to domestic violent extremism. Thankfully, this report was retracted by CIA Director John Ratcliffe, along with 18 other ideologically biased reports.
This is reminiscent of the Biden Pentagon’s witch hunt for “right-wing extremism” in the military. There wasn’t any. Biden’s LGBTQ military officers couldn’t even find it. But one of the markers of “extremism” they were looking for was whether soldiers were going to websites with “Patriot” in the name.
That’s one reason why Americans wouldn’t join the military during the Biden years—they demonized patriotism. They also demonized normalcy by embracing transgender soldiers and using drag queens for recruiting. If Kamala Harris and Tim Walz had won, there would be tampons in the men’s rooms at the Pentagon today.
Speaking Of Tampons. . .
Eleven members of the Maryland House of Delegates are sponsoring legislation to put tampons in the men’s restrooms in all public buildings, including football and baseball stadiums.
I’ll give you one guess which party they belong to.
Back To The Moon
President Trump understands that America needs to control the “high ground” in every sense of the phrase, and he wants America to lead the world in technological advances. Under his leadership, NASA has launched a new mission to return to the moon for the first time in more than 50 years.
The first phase of that mission is the Artemis 2 launch carrying four astronauts on a 10-day journey around the moon. There is not a set date yet for the launch, but it is expected to take place sometime next month, possibly as soon as April 1st.
The program’s goal aims for a moon landing in 2028, building a moon base and then deploying nuclear propulsion technology to make missions to Mars a reality.
Of course, you hear very little about this “giant leap for mankind” because it is an inspiring mission demonstrating American greatness. Leftists are whining that it is taking money away from Somali fraudsters.
They’re Back
The No Kings gang is planning another national protest for this Saturday. No Kings is part of the vast network of revolutionary Marxist organizations seeking to “fundamentally transform” America. They hate Donald Trump because he wants to make America great.
Sadly, I’m sure there are many people participating in the No Kings demonstrations who have absolutely no idea they are pawns of communist China. This radical left network is funded in part by Neville Singham, a billionaire who lives in Shanghai with his wife Jodie Evans, co-founder of the far-left group Code Pink.
Singham is a Maoist and an unapologetic shill for communist China. Even the New York Times acknowledged that “Mr. Singham works closely with the Chinese government media machine and is financing its propaganda worldwide.”
We will find out this weekend how many “useful idiots” the communist Chinese can turnout in cities across America.
Medal Of Honor Day
The Medal of Honor is America’s highest military award in recognition of “gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty.” Today, March 25th, is National Medal of Honor Day, a time for us to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of America’s heroes.
The first Medal of Honor was awarded to Private Jacob Parrott of the Union Army on March 25, 1863. Parrott was part of a team of volunteers who conducted a daring raid destroying railroad tracks and telegraph lines behind Confederate forces. Unfortunately, the team was captured. Several members were executed.
Parrott managed to escape but was captured again. As a prisoner of war, he was tortured and beaten more than 100 times, but he never divulged any information to his Confederate captors.
More than thirty-five hundred heroes have received the Medal of Honor since 1863. President Trump recently presented the Medal of Honor to three recipients, two of whom were honored at the State of the Union address last month.
Retired Navy Captain Royce Williams was recognized for taking on seven Soviet Mig fighter jets during a classified mission in the Korean War. He shot down four of them.
Chief Warrant Officer Eric Slover flew the lead helicopter during the incredible mission that captured Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro. Slover was shot four times, but he successfully completed the mission.
President Trump also posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor to Master Sergeant Roddie Edmonds for his service during World War II. I had the privilege of interviewing his son, Pastor Chris Edmonds, several years ago.
Roddie Edmonds was captured by the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge in late 1944 and sent to a POW camp with 1,200 American prisoners. When the German commandant ordered the Jewish POWs to identify themselves at roll call, Edmonds led all 1,200 men in stepping forward to protect the identities of the Jewish soldiers.
The furious commandant pulled out his firearm and pointed it at Edmonds’ head. But he simply replied, “We are all Jews here.” The frustrated German stormed off. Edmonds’ courage that day saved 200 Jewish American soldiers.
