The Culture Of Death

 

Those of us in the pro-life movement have long argued that the Supreme Court's legal embrace of abortion in the 1973 Roe v. Wade case created a "culture of death" in America.  That culture of death not only poisons the minds of those in the abortion industry, it also corrupts others as well to the point that they become "pro-abortion."

 

Many liberals object to that term.  "No one is 'pro-abortion,'" they insist.  Really?

 

Joe Biden is trying to force you to pay for abortions with your tax dollars, and he is trying to force Christian doctors and nurses and Catholic hospitals to perform abortions.  That's not "pro-choice."  That's pro-abortion!

 

In recent years, the left has fully embraced its pro-abortion activism with a movement called, "Shout Your Abortion."  In other words, don't be ashamed about killing an innocent baby, brag about it.  That's pro-abortion!

 

One woman took to social media recently to "shout her abortion."  She tweeted:

 

"Abortion is healthcare.  And also traumatic so if you have one, gather all your closest friends after to celebrate. Be around endless love and happiness for your decision. Thanks for everyone who came last night."

 

To emphasize her point, she posted a photo of the cake they had when she and her friends celebrated the death of her innocent preborn child.  "It's a boy" was written in blue icing on the top of the cake.  But there were additional letters on top of that in black icing, so the whole message read, "It's aborted."

 

I am saddened and angry that for some Americans "freedom" today means the right to destroy innocent preborn life and to party afterwards.  That's pro-abortion.  And that callous attitude toward life is what the culture of death has wrought in America.

 

They claim it's just healthcare.  It's not.  Healthcare is about saving life.  Abortion is the exact opposite -- it's meant to guarantee death.  It's the taking of an innocent life.  It should be a matter of serious soul searching, not celebration.

 

Very soon, we'll find out whether the Supreme Court is willing to begin reversing the damage of Roe v. Wade by providing some protection for innocent preborn children.  I'm praying it will. 

 

If it does, not only will innocent babies be saved, but we can begin to reverse the culture of death that prevails today, and begin to restore a culture of life in America.

 

 

 

Liberalism Kills

 

Beyond the left's embrace of pro-abortion policies, it's now beyond obvious that left-wing progressive policies related to crime and policing are deadly.  And, just like abortion, minorities are suffering the most from these liberal policies.

 

According to an analysis of FBI data, there was a shocking 43% increase in the number of black Americans murdered in 2020 compared to previous years.  Going back over the past decade, there were two major spikes in the number of blacks murdered – in 2015 and 2020. 

 

Both years coincided with high-profile cases involving interactions with police – Michael Brown in 2015 and George Floyd in 2020 – that triggered the defund the police movement and coincided with the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement. 

 

In other words, the more attention the media paid to certain black deaths and the more the left demonized law enforcement, the more black people were murdered.

 

It is a national scandal how many minority men and women are being killed in our big cities, and it has accelerated to record levels under Joe Biden.  It's also a scandal that Big Media isn't reporting this. 

 

But let me point out what should be obvious:  Blacks are not being killed by the police. 

Even the left-wing Washington Post's own research showed that police shootings of black men were overwhelmingly justified.  While every incident is tragic and unfortunate, in the vast majority of cases, officers fired in self-defense. 

 

No, the police are not the problem -- and black Americans know that.  Nor is the increasing number of black murders evidence of "institutional" or "systemic racism" in America.  Blacks are being killed by criminals, drug dealers, gangs and thugs.

 

The problem is that progressive policies -- demanded by the fraudulent BLM "Buy Luxury Mansions" movement, funded by woke corporations and enacted by left-wing prosecutors -- have allowed criminals to control our city streets!

 

 

 

Liberalism Kills II

 

Among the many failures involved in Joe Biden's open borders policy is the massive amount of deadly drugs flooding into the country, specifically fentanyl. 

 

Not only are the communist Chinese providing the chemicals to the drug cartels to make fentanyl, but the amount of fentanyl coming into the United States has quadrupled under Biden because of his open borders policies.

 

Let me repeat:  Border security is national security!  And under this administration, we have neither border security nor national security.

 

At the same time, we have huge supply chain problems, creating shortages of microchips for cars, shortages of baby formula, shortages of fertilizer for farmers, etc.  But, in addition to illegal aliens, the one thing Biden is allowing into America in mass quantities is fentanyl.  That deadly drug supply chain is on steroids because of his open borders policies. 

 

What irony!  Illegal activity at the border is swamping the country, but legitimate business activity is shut down because of COVID hangovers and the war in Ukraine.

 

So much fentanyl is pouring into the country that the price for it is going down.  Maybe if Biden put fentanyl in the Consumer Price Index inflation wouldn't be so bad!  (Sarcasm Alert.)

 

America deserves better.  Help me fight back!

 

 

 

Speaking of Communist China. . .

 

Leading House Republicans, including GOP Whip Steve Scalise, Jim Jordan and James Comer, set the stage this week for a major investigation into the origins of COVID-19. 

 

First, the Republican congressmen sent a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services demanding that the EcoHealth Alliance lose access to federal funds. 

 

The group, led by Dr. Peter Daszak, was the primary conduit through which Dr. Anthony Fauci funneled taxpayer dollars to the Wuhan Institute for Virology to conduct gain of function research in violation of federal law.

 

Second, they sent a letter to Dr. Kristian Andersen about his role in suppressing information about the "lab leak theory."  Andersen has previously denied such involvement.

 

But new reporting by Vanity Fair suggests he was deeply involved in shutting down discussions of the lab leak theory.  House Republicans are offering him a chance to "correct the record."

 

The Vanity Fair report also indicates that Daszak is not cooperating with demands to produce information because he's "waiting for the Chinese government to authorize the release" of the information.  In other words, Daszak is still taking his orders from Beijing, even though American taxpayers are funding his research.

 

These are the kind of letters congressmen send to warn of potential perjury charges and far-reaching investigations.  Right now, Scalise, Jordan and Comer, because they are in the minority, do not have the authority to pursue the issue any further. 

 

But their letters indicate what will happen if there are conservative House and Senate majorities next year.  This issue alone -- a serious investigation into the origin of COVID-19 -- is reason enough for all of us to hope Republicans prevail "bigly" this November. 

 

In addition, there obviously needs to be an in-depth investigation into Hunter Biden and whether the Biden family is compromised by communist China.  In fact, Joe Biden should welcome that investigation seeing as a new poll finds that 64% of Americans, including 24% of Democrats, believe he is compromised by communist China.  That's not good. 

 

We need a major investigation into the massive fraud and abuse of COVID relief funds.  And there should also be an investigation into how Nancy Pelosi became such a Wall Street wizard. 

 

None of this is being seriously investigated by Democrats because the left doesn't want government corruption exposed.

Go Woke, Go Broke

 

Netflix is in damage-control mode.  Its stock cratered yesterday on reports that it lost 200,000 subscribers in the last quarter.  Yes, it has a lot more competition now, and it doesn't have COVID forcing customers to stay home binge-watching shows anymore. 

 

Elon Musk thinks he knows what's wrong.  He tweeted, "The woke mind virus is making Netflix unwatchable."  He's right about that!  There's a major radical left-wing influence at Netflix. 

 

Just like every other major media outlet, Netflix has gone woke.  They hired the Obamas.  They hired Susan Rice.  They hired Meghan and Harry Markle.  They produced a glowing documentary on the legacy of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.  I guarantee you there will never be a Netflix documentary on Clarence Thomas! 

 

Increasingly, America's woke multinational corporations operate as if 75% of America was leftist and the rest of us don't matter.
