Media Malfeasance

One of the Left’s favorite talking points on immigration is the claim that illegal aliens commit fewer crimes than native-born Americans. That claim is highly debatable. More importantly, it’s irrelevant. 

What open border advocates refuse to acknowledge is that every crime committed by an illegal alien never should have happened. American citizens are suffering because left-wing politicians refused to secure the border and refused to enforce our immigration laws.

Democrats claim they want criminal illegal aliens deported but then support “sanctuary city” policies that protect criminals from deportation. They release criminals rather than turn them over to federal immigration police. They’re doing everything they can to prevent criminal aliens from being deported. But the media never tells you that.

Here’s something else the media won’t tell you. 

Tennessee officials keep track of and report the number of crimes committed every year in the state by illegal aliens. The figures for 2025 were just released, and they are shocking. 

Last year alone, illegal aliens from 119 different countries committed 2,183 violent offenses. Illegal aliens murdered 41 people. Illegal aliens committed 145 sexual offenses. Illegal aliens raped 11 children. 

Illegal aliens carjacked 966 victims. Illegal aliens kidnapped 40 people. Illegal aliens assaulted 66 police officers and first responders. All these crimes were committed in just one state in one year by people who never should have been here. 

Because of the Democrat/media frenzy in Minneapolis, you know the names of two radical activists—Renee Good and Alex Pretti. But no one, other than family and friends, knows the names of the 41 victims murdered by illegal aliens in Tennessee. 

Democrats and their media allies won’t tell you about those 41 victims because they don’t care about them. They only care about keeping every illegal alien in America so they can become future Democrat voters, no matter how many Americans are robbed, raped, or murdered.

Every state should follow Tennessee’s example and report this important information. It shows you that all the Left’s “compassion” and “empathy” for “migrants” is being used to manipulate us. 

Otherwise, we would see the same outpouring of sympathy for the 41 murdered people in Tennessee. We would have seen the same outpouring of concern for the Americans who were raped and murdered by illegal aliens during Joe Biden’s four years of open border insanity.

“Catastrophically Wrong”

Some polling indicates that the American people think the tactics being used by federal immigration police are “too aggressive.” Those results have been spun by leftist pundits to suggest the public is turning against Trump’s immigration policies. 

It wouldn’t be surprising if that were true because the American people are being bombarded 24 hours a day by propaganda from Big Media. It’s like advertising. Companies run a lot of ads on television because they help sell products. Big media is one big ad for the Democrats. 

But a new survey from Cygnal Polling on immigration finds the views of the American people are more nuanced than leftist politicians and pundits want you to believe. And the idea that the American people are embracing the Democrats’ views on immigration is “catastrophically wrong.”

Here are some key findings:

• 64% of all voters say illegal immigration is a problem. 61% of Democrats say it’s not.
• 73% of all voters believe that someone who enters the country without legal permission has broken the law. Only 48% of Democrats agree.
• 61% of all voters support deporting illegal aliens. 67% of Democrats oppose deporting illegal aliens.
• 54% of all voters support federal immigration police enforcing our immigration laws. 81% of Democrats oppose enforcing our immigration laws.
• 58% of all voters oppose shutting down the government to defund federal immigration police. 68% of Democrats support shutting the government down to defund immigration enforcement.

Another Democrat Disconnect

Since Democrats are making demands over funding for federal immigration police, Republicans have a demand of their own: Pass the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act. The SAVE Act requires individuals to provide proof of citizenship when they register to vote. It’s essentially a voter ID law.

But all you will hear from the media are Democrat talking points that “Republicans are trying to stop minorities from voting.” Chuck Schumer compared the SAVE Act to “Jim Crow-type laws,” and said Senate Democrats would “go all out” to defeat it.

Once again, Democrats are totally out of touch with the American people. Eighty-three percent (83%) of Americans support voter ID, including 82% of Latino and 76% of Black Americans. 

So, the obvious question is, why does Chuck Schumer hate the SAVE Act so much? The obvious answer is that Democrats want cheating and voter fraud to be as easy as possible. There’s no other explanation for why Democrats would fight so hard on the wrong side of an 83% issue.

Senate Republican Leader John Thune said he will bring the SAVE Act up for a vote. He may even force Democrats to use a “standing filibuster,” where they must be present on the Senate floor at all times to actually filibuster the legislation. If they don’t, the SAVE Act would need only 51 votes to pass.

Churches Under Siege

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the arrests of two more Marxist revolutionaries who were involved in the invasion of Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota. Kudos to the Trump administration for being true to its word to enforce the law! We will have to wait and see if the legal system will work as it should and impose consequences for their criminal acts.

Meanwhile, a Catholic school in Long Beach, California, was desecrated over the weekend. Furniture was broken. A statue of the Virgin Mary was smashed. Other religious items, including the tabernacle where the eucharistic host is kept, were destroyed. 

The school’s principal said the criminals “took time to really damage” religious artifacts. The Justice Department has launched a full investigation.

Maybe it had nothing to do with what happened in St. Paul. The pro-open borders crowd doesn’t have a problem with Catholics. The pope and most Catholic leaders are so over-the-top in their support of mass migration it almost seems like a suicide wish. Does the pope really want to live in a Muslim-majority Italy? 

Whatever the motivation, the attack on this Catholic school fits the pattern we have seen of increasing attacks on churches and synagogues. With few exceptions, these attacks are driven by the radical Left or radical Islamists. 

Over 100 churches in Canada have been set on fire or vandalized, and the American media ignored the story. So has the Canadian government. If anything, the rhetoric of Canadian officials is pouring fuel on the anti-Christian fire.

Not So Peachy

Things aren’t so peachy in the Peach State. Last week, the FBI raided the Fulton County, Georgia, elections office. Federal agents were there with a warrant to seize “all physical ballots from the 2020 election in Fulton County, along with all voter rolls, tabulator tapes for every voting machine used in the county, and all ballot images.”

The warrant, approved by a federal judge, specifically cited federal laws that “govern the conduct of election workers when it comes to preserving records of elections and how ballots are issued and counted.” 

That’s an important point given what Georgia election officials recently admitted: The tabulator tapes from 130 voting machines were not signed, as required, by three precinct officials. 

The tabulator tapes confirm the exact number of votes cast by each voting machine. Roughly 315,000 votes went through those 130 voting machines. Joe Biden won the state by less than 12,000 votes.

Democrats are outraged, but not about any of that. They are livid that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was there when the FBI raid took place. Gabbard informed Democrats that she was there because President Trump ordered her to be there.

During his speech in Davos, Switzerland, two weeks ago, the president referred to the 2020 elections, saying, “People will soon be prosecuted for what they did.” In an interview yesterday, Trump said we will soon see some “interesting things” come out about what happened in Georgia five years ago.

Case Closed

For decades, Washington, D.C., has been plagued by a very high murder rate. A disturbing number of murder cases went unsolved. Thanks to President Trump’s surge of law enforcement into the nation’s capital last year, crime is down significantly and D.C. authorities are now solving more murder cases than ever before. 

That’s great news! But every time Trump tries to help a Democrat-controlled city by reducing crime, the Left accuses Trump of attacking a Democrat city and its mayor. To the left, getting crime under control and getting murderers off the streets isn’t helping; it’s hurting. 

No Republican will ever win Washington, D.C. But President Trump nonetheless cared enough to help the city’s people while the city’s politicians attacked him.

Give It Back

Yesterday, I told you about Billie Eilish’s rock-level dumb comment that “no one is illegal on stolen land.” She’s not smart enough to come up with that on her own. I’ve heard it before. 

But because there’s a place called America, which the Left hates, they want to bury it with a tidal wave of illegal immigration. That’s what Eilish was saying. It was a “land acknowledgement rite” writ large. But there was a little bump in the road for Eilish.

It seems her $14 million California mansion was built on “stolen land.” A representative of the Tongva tribe said, “Eilish has not contacted our tribe directly regarding her property,” which is on “our ancestral land.” 

I am waiting for the news that Eilish has given her home back to the Tongva tribe. It would be wonderful for the rest of the country to know that at least one leftist celebrity is not a total hypocrite!
