Trump’s Warning
President Trump’s deadline for the Iranian regime to reopen the Strait of Hormuz is 8:00 p.m. tonight. This morning, the president issued another strong warning to Iran’s leaders, calling tonight’s deadline “one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World.”
I want to add this caveat. Throughout his entire career, President Trump, as part of his efforts to “make a deal,” will take a tough stance, and then he drops it once he has won concessions. Or he will suggest he won’t do something, in order to confuse his opponent, only to do it later.
The Left says this is evidence that Trump is “unbalanced” and doesn’t know what he’s doing. On the contrary, Trump knows exactly what he’s doing. He is keeping America’s enemies confused and off balance.
The president said that if Iran doesn’t reopen the Strait of Hormuz, we are going to launch massive attacks on the country’s infrastructure, including bridges and power plants. We’ll see what happens tonight.
Instead of Democrats and the media hyperventilating about that, they ought to be hyperventilating about what Iran just did because it is a direct reminder of the nature of that radical regime.
Iran’s leaders told Iranian parents to send their children to the nearest power plant or bridge and surround those “targets” with their sons and daughters forming human chains.
Why? Because the Islamic supremacists believe we are such a decent nation that we won’t bomb those targets if civilians will die. Or, if we do bomb them, they will claim America killed innocent children whether any children were actually there or not.
This is who they have always been. The Islamic Republic of Iran began in 1979 by taking U.S. diplomats at our Tehran embassy as hostages. They fund Hamas and Hezbollah—terrorist groups that routinely use innocent civilians as human shields.
Democrats say we just need to talk more and negotiate with Iran, as Barack Obama and Joe Biden did. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) said, “We need to make sure that we give Iran an ironclad guarantee that Israel or we will not attack again.” And he’s a “moderate.”
When Iran was at war with Iraq, they ran into a major problem—Iraqi landmines. The mullahs sent Iran’s children across the minefields to set off the mines. They told their parents to celebrate that their children died as martyrs and are in paradise. Then, Iran sent its army across the terrain the children had just cleared with their bodies.
This is the regime that Obama, Biden, many foreign policy “experts” and congressional Democrats believed would control the Middle East. Anyone who stood in the way, including Israel and Saudi Arabia, would have to bend the knee to Tehran. And the American media was totally fine with that.
UPDATE: As we are getting ready to publish this report, news is breaking that Pakistan is proposing a two-week ceasefire, along with Iran fully reopening the Strait of Hormuz, to allow for diplomatic negotiations.
War Crimes
Now that President Trump’s deadline is fast approaching, the cable news talking heads suddenly have a lot to say about “war crimes.” We’re being told over and over that striking bridges and power plants (civilian infrastructure) is a war crime under international law. Here are a few points to consider.
- It is NOT a war crime to bomb infrastructure if it has a “dual use” military/civilian purpose.
- While Iran has a “government” with a parliament and a president, the real power in Iran is the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a designated foreign terrorist organization.
- It is estimated that the IRGC controls as much as half of Iran’s GDP, including much of its oil, construction and infrastructure industries. Terrorist thugs do not make good businessmen. That is one major reason why Iran’s economy is so bad.
War crimes are, in fact, happening in this conflict every day. They are being committed by Iran and the media never says a word about them.
It is a war crime to use human shields, which the Iranian regime is doing by urging children to surround power plants.
It is a war crime to use child soldiers, which the Iranian regime is doing again in this conflict.
It is a war crime to bomb civilians or launch attacks indiscriminately. Virtually all of Iran’s targets in Israel have been civilian targets. Iran is also bombing civilian targets and infrastructure in several surrounding Persian Gulf states, including airports, apartment buildings and hotels.
Get Them Out
Secretary of State Marco Rubio revoked the visas of relatives of Iran’s former terror mastermind General Qasem Soleimani and other regime leaders. Evidently, he’s just getting started.
There are credible reports that the Trump administration is in the process of revoking up to four thousand more visas held by family members of the Iranian regime. How many of them are spies or terrorists?
Presumably, individuals like Eissa Hashemi will be on Rubio’s list. Currently an adjunct professor living in Los Angeles, Hashemi is the son of Masoumeh Ebtekar, a key figure in the 1979 Islamic revolution.
Known as “Screaming Mary,” Ebtekar became the English-speaking public face of the Iranian regime during the U.S. embassy hostage crisis. She has held various government positions over the years and routinely defends the regime’s brutal suppression of civilian protests.
Hashemi has never denounced the Islamic revolution, the oppression of the Iranian regime, or his mother’s involvement in the regime. If he is unwilling to publicly defend the freedoms he is enjoying in the United States and condemn the tyrants of Tehran, he shouldn’t be here.
Artemis Makes History
The four crew members of the Artemis II mission made history yesterday, traveling nearly 253,000 miles from the Earth. That is the farthest distance into space human beings have ever been.
President Trump called the astronauts to congratulate them on this historic achievement. They were excited to hear from the president, and he was excited to talk to them. Trump even asked the astronauts for their autographs!
Just before they traveled to the far side of the Moon and lost communication with Earth, pilot Victor Glover shared the Gospel. He said:
“As we get close to the nearest point to the Moon and farthest point from Earth, as we continue to unlock the mysteries of the Cosmos, I would like to remind you of one of the most important mysteries there on Earth—and that’s love.
“Christ said, in response to what was the greatest command, that it was to love God with all that you are. And He also, being a great teacher, said the second is equal to it, and that is to love your neighbor as yourself.”
The crew also named a crater after Carroll Wiseman, the late wife of mission commander Reid Wiseman, who died of cancer in 2020. It was a very emotional moment.
NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman explained to CNBC this morning what the future of the Artemis program will look like. Starting next year, Artemis III will start launching near-monthly unmanned missions to the Moon. They will deliver materials for the construction of a manned base at the south pole of the Moon.
Some people will ask, “How can we afford this? Why are we spending so much time and effort on the moon?”
Imagine that communist China, instead of the United States, was sending monthly deliveries to the moon next year and would start building a base shortly after that. That’s not a hypothetical scenario. China is planning to land on the moon by 2030—just four years from now.
The future of our children and grandchildren would be bleak indeed if communist China takes the lead in space exploration.
Left-wing Hate
If you need any more evidence of the Left’s hatred for America, check out Troy Aikman’s X feed. Yesterday, the football legend posted a message that was short and sweet—three American flags. That was it. No words or commentary of any kind, just three American flags.
I could be wrong, but my guess is that he was celebrating the historic Artemis mission or perhaps the successful weekend rescue of U.S. airmen in Iran. We really don’t know what prompted the post, but you don’t need a reason to express a patriotic sentiment.
But that innocuous display of patriotism sent left-wing lunatics over the edge. Aikman’s account was deluged with hateful messages to him and America. Here’s a sample:
“Thanks for helping tank our country with your lack of knowledge about anything.”
“Give me one thing to be proud about right now. One thing.”
“Death to it.”
I think it’s time to start a fund to buy one-way tickets for all these America-haters to the country of their choice.
Putting Americans First
Since the beginning of the Trump administration, federal immigration police have arrested nearly 20,000 illegal aliens just in the Washington, D.C., metro area. Thousands of them had criminal records.
That’s quite a contrast to Joe Biden’s last year in office. In 2024, the Biden administration arrested just 3,800 illegal aliens in the same area. So, Trump is arresting 1,428 illegal aliens a month while Biden arrested just 316 a month.
What explains this massive difference? It wasn’t a lack of illegal aliens in and around our nation’s capital in 2024. The difference is that Open Borders Biden refused to enforce our immigration laws. Democrats want illegal aliens to remain in the country and become Democrat voters.
President Trump is enforcing our immigration laws and putting Americans first.
God Is Good
This year, on Good Friday, we received the news that two US airmen had ejected from their fighter jet after they were hit by enemy fire over Iran. In the hours that followed, and in the midst of celebrating Easter, millions of Americans prayed for those men and their families.
