Air Defenses Reinforced At Mar-a-Lago

Several Avenger Short-Range Air Defense units have been deployed in and around Mar-a-Lago, including at least one unit on a barge. It can be seen from the highway and is no doubt a jarring site to people who still may not know “what time it is,” meaning what is the moment in which we are living.

The units were deployed by NORAD, and their purpose is to intercept drones, helicopters or low-flying aircraft like Pipers and Cessnas. 

This follows the directive that went out from the Department of War for all U.S. military bases to take immediate action to ensure they can be self-sufficient for 90 days. It also coincides with virtually every nation in Europe directing their citizens to store water, food, medical supplies and cash. Japan just announced it is doing the same.

Today, we learned that food storage freezers at multiple U.S. military base commissaries were hacked in August, destroying large amounts of supplies. A similar cyberattack hit multiple European countries earlier this month with French supermarkets suffering the most damage.

A lot of people laugh at “preppers.” How are we to react when the preppers are our own governments?

If Americans needed another reason to not elect a bunch of Marxists and Islamists to the United States Congress on Tuesday, here it is. 

The Socialist Takeover Of The Democrat Party

The 2026 election isn’t over yet, but the Democrat Socialists of America (DSA) are already looking ahead to 2028 and beyond. Convinced they will take over Congress this year, they’re already measuring the drapes in the Oval Office, planning for “President Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.” That goal is realistic, and it indicates how far America has drifted from its core values. 

When AOC first ran for Congress in 2018, many people dismissed the “Bronx bartender” as an ignorant upstart with no political future. The idea that she was a credible candidate for anything was seen as a joke. 

But while she frequently put her ignorance on full display, it didn’t stop her from taking down a 20-year incumbent and member of Nancy Pelosi’s leadership team in the Democrat primary.

Since she was elected, her political skills have massively improved. That tells me serious people are working with her to improve those skills. Like it or not, she will be a formidable candidate, especially given the leftward lurch of the Democrat Party. 

Even California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who definitely has his eyes on the White House, just admitted that the DSA is the Democrat Party’s future. He said:

“The DSA, the energy and the desire for bold change, not incremental change, is very much going to be the . . . the mainstream Democratic movement. Absolutely. No question in my mind.”

If anyone on the Left wins the White House in 2028, they will try to ensure it’s our last real election. But if it’s someone like AOC or Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed, it definitely will be our last real election.

Democrats Get Dirty In Alaska

We’ve told you about Alaska’s “Decoy Dan Sullivan”—the fake Senate candidate Democrats put on the ballot to defeat incumbent Republican Dan Sullivan. Everyone knew it was more dirty tricks by the Democrats. But, surprisingly, the New York Times dropped a bombshell report yesterday exposing just how elaborate and extensive this scheme was.

Yes, the very people claiming to “defend our democracy” are the same people who are attempting to corrupt our elections. Shocker! (That’s sarcasm, of course.)

The “Decoy Dan” scheme involved top aides of Democrat Senate nominee Mary Peltola’s campaign, officials at the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee in Washington, D.C., third-party organizations and even the law firm of Democrat uber lawyer Marc Elias. 

Democrats are reacting exactly how you would expect them to react. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) dismissed the scandal, saying it was “much ado about nothing.” Mary Peltola deflected, saying, “This is all stuff to get subscriptions. Nobody at the New York Times cares about affordability in Alaska.”

When a Democrat is in a battle, there is no such word as “retreat.” When they get in trouble, they swing another punch as quickly as they can.

Alaska’s governor and the Justice Department have launched full investigations to determine what laws were broken and how to deal with mistaken votes for Democrat “Decoy Dan” that were intended for the real Senator Dan Sullivan.

This cheating is disgusting. But even as Democrats are caught cheating in Alaska, we’re told to trust them when they insist, “There’s no fraud in our elections.” 

It shouldn’t surprise us that Democrats are corrupt. They are the party with the least number of people who believe in objective truth and reliable standards of right and wrong. They have the lowest percentage of Christians and the highest percentage of atheists. Of course, it’s going to be the party of cheating!

And as the Democrat Party increasingly becomes the party of Islam, the cheating will be on steroids because Islamists have a religious obligation to lie to infidels.

Where Things Stand

With most Israeli ballots counted, it’s not yet clear who will be tapped first by Israeli President Isaac Hertzog with the unenviable task of trying to form a governing coalition. Netanyahu’s conservative/religious coalition commands 53 seats in the Knesset—8 short of the 61 seats needed to form a government. Gadi Eisenkot’s opposition coalition has 48 seats—13 short.

Some are urging Eisenkot to bring the Islamist Ra’am Party into his coalition. That is impossible to imagine because Ra’am still refuses to denounce Hamas as a terrorist group. 

But not only would that require Eisenkot to break his pledge against partnering with Ra’am, their seven seats still do not get him to 61. And there is absolutely no way Eisenkot could partner with the fanatical Joint Arab List. 

On election night, one Joint List leader declared, “We dedicate the victory to our people in the Gaza Strip, in the West Bank, in occupied Jerusalem . . . and our blessings also to the prisoners.” In case you’re wondering who these “prisoners” might be, he was referring to the Islamic terrorists Israel has captured and imprisoned.

The Democracy Democrats Hate

It is amazing how little commentary there is about how the Israeli election blows up the Left’s entire false narrative about Israel.

Democrats, including AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed and too many others, along with the media, leftist university professors and the “Free Free Palestine” crowd, have constantly pushed falsehoods about Israel. 

In Tuesday’s election, there were two Arab/Islamist parties on the ballot. How is that possible in a nation we’re constantly told is an “apartheid state,” where Arabs and Muslims supposedly have no rights? 

Why isn’t anyone saying the obvious—that the last election in “Free Free Palestine” was in 2006? Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is currently in the 22nd year of his four-year term!

Here’s something else to think about. Just weeks ago, ballistic missiles were raining down on Tel Aviv. There were terrorist attacks in Israel last week. Yet, the election took place. Maybe Israel can give Ukrainian President Zelensky some tips on how to hold elections in the middle of a war. 

By the way, elections in Gaza, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia, etc., are rare and often rigged. And when they are held, there is no Jewish party competing. Now, I concede the reason there is no Jewish party is because there are few if any Jews allowed to live safely in these Islamic nations.
