Christians Must Not Live In Fear
Former White House Press Secretary and Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany interviewed Michael Desronvil, the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder case. He agreed to speak with McEnany on one condition: that he would not be the entire focus of the interview. He said:
“The focus has to be on the children. They’re the ones that don’t have anyone that’s fighting for them. . . A group of people need to stand up for what is right—for the three kids, for the three angels.”
Throughout the interview, Michael Desronvil exudes thoughtfulness. He is a serious Christian, and he had his well-used Bible with many notes written in the margins with him during the interview.
McEnany asked about the intense pressure that was put on him during the jury deliberations to declare Clancy not guilty and the difficulty he and his family have faced since the trial ended. She wanted to know if he would ever serve on another jury. Desronvil replied that while it’s hard to say yes, the Bible says, “Fear not.” He serves a higher power and will not be a coward.
This is a theme I have repeatedly stressed over the past year. There is too much fear in the body of Christ about the rising dangers we’re facing. Fear, demoralization and despair are not proper reactions to the Marxist/Muslim alliance that threatens our future and our nation.
We are to be alert. We are to be wise. We are to be strong. And we must act. We must not cower in fear.
Christian Voter Takes Talarico To Task
Texas Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico participated in a town hall event last night where voters could ask him questions. Jody Hunt, a Catholic voter, asked Talarico about his extreme position on abortion.
He repeated that same absurd claim he has before—that the Bible is silent on abortion, so there’s no contradiction with his pro-abortion position and Bible. Hunt wasn’t having it. She shot back, “The Bible is not silent on abortion. There is the 10 Commandments: ‘Thou shall not kill.’”
“If I believed that abortion was murder, that it violated the Ten Commandments, then I wouldn’t support it,” Talarico replied. “So, it is okay that you and I come to different conclusions about that.”
What exactly does Talarico think an abortion is? It is the deliberate ending of an innocent life. You’d think the “party of science” would understand that, but they also think men can get pregnant! Why would anyone trust these crazy people to handle any issue?
Abortion is one of the growing number of irreconcilable differences dividing Americans today. It comes down to what you believe is in the womb during pregnancy. Is it a little human being made in the image of God?
Or do you believe what is in the womb has the moral equivalent of an appendix? If your appendix gives you trouble, you get rid of it. Is that what is in the mother’s womb—something to be disposed of when it becomes inconvenient?
Of course, Talarico’s outrageous claim that the Bible is silent on abortion wasn’t his only blatant lie. He told many lies last night. But he also claimed that women are dying of pregnancy-related complications in hospital parking lots all over the state of Texas. There is no record of anything like that happening.
In the few cases cited by pro-abortion advocates, negligence on the part of the doctors, not the state’s pro-life law, was to blame. But the Left will never tell you that. The “truth” is whatever the Left wants it to be.
To the voters of Texas: Please wake up. Do not send this man to represent you in the United States Senate.
More Fake News Lies
MS NOW ran a “breaking news” story yesterday about FBI Director Kash Patel’s mystery flight to Moscow. Two FBI “sources” allegedly told the far-left media outlet that the Bureau had no idea why Patel was in Russia.
So, MS NOW host Peter Alexander and correspondent Ken Dilanian started speculating that perhaps Patel was going there to encourage Vladimir Putin to interfere in the elections.
Assuming MS NOW actually has sources in the FBI, there’s a reason they knew nothing about Patel’s trip to Moscow—it never happened. Patel was speaking at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, yesterday.
Just like ABC’s vicious smear of Don and Eric Trump, MS NOW’s false report is another example of the sorry state of journalism. These leftist hacks don’t even pretend to follow the basic rules of journalism, particularly when it involves extraordinary allegations and speculation.
If reporting would hurt someone on the political Left—oh, let’s say Hunter Biden—they would drag their feet and wouldn’t cover it unless and until they absolutely had to. But when it could hurt Donald Trump or someone else on the Right, it’s “Breaking News.”
Polling Propaganda
A recent poll reportedly found that 43% of voters between the ages of 18 and 24 had a positive view of Sharia law. This is yet another example of why you can’t trust polling.
Raise your hand if you think 43% of young people really know what Sharia law is all about. If they did, that number would fall to whatever percentage of voters are Muslims between the ages of 18 and 24. At best, they’ve been indoctrinated into believing that anything not American and from a foreign culture must be good.
We are constantly being manipulated, often with the goal of demoralizing conservatives and Christians. Plus, it also makes other young people think they should get on the bandwagon and be for Sharia law.
Are Teens Rejecting The LGBTQ Agenda?
For years, pop culture and the public schools have been flooded with LGBTQ propaganda. For many teens, being “queer” became a ticket to instant affirmation. It was “cool” to be gay, trans, or non-binary. But the social contagion of transgenderism may have run its course.
