Homan vs. Minnesota
President Trump sent Border Czar Tom Homan to Minnesota to get greater cooperation from state and local officials in the effort to remove illegal foreign nationals from our country. At a press conference this morning, Homan said, “I didn’t come here for headlines or photo ops. I came for solutions. . . I’m staying until the problem is solved.”
Homan said his discussions with Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison were productive. He is hopeful that federal immigration police will have greater access to illegal aliens currently incarcerated in Minnesota’s jails, which Homan said was “just common sense.”
He explained that one federal agent can arrest an illegal alien in the confines of jail. But it takes a dozen or more agents to track down a potentially armed criminal alien out on the streets. Homan said there could be a drawdown of federal agents in Minneapolis depending on the level of cooperation he gets from the state.
No Surrender
Border Czar Homan also made it clear that the administration is “not surrendering the president’s mission on immigration enforcement.” He had a clear message for the Marxist revolutionaries and insurrectionists in the streets of Minneapolis. He said:
“The hostile and hateful rhetoric and dangerous behavior must stop. . . If you don’t like what [federal immigration police] are doing . . . go protest Congress. . .
“You have the right to protest. I’m just asking to keep it peaceful. But threatening law enforcement officers and engaging in impeding or obstructing is never okay. And there will be zero tolerance. You interfere with or assault [federal immigration police], you will be arrested.” (Attorney General Pam Bondi just announced that 16 more arrests have been made.)
Homan was asked by a CBS News reporter if the U.S. would now stop detaining people whose “only crime” was entering the country illegally. Too many Republican politicians, not wanting to appear “mean” and “heartless,” would struggle to answer that question. Homan didn’t take the bait. He replied:
“Let me say this. If the message we send as you enter this country illegally is, ‘It’s a crime, don’t worry about it. . . Unless you commit a serious crime, you’re good to go.’ If that’s the message we send to the world, you’re never going to fix this problem. . .
“And when [Biden and Harris] did that, they sent a message to the whole world. . . And what happened? They overwhelmed the men and women of the Border Patrol, where many days 70% of agents were pulled off that line.”
Thankfully, Donald Trump secured the border. For the first time in decades, virtually no one is entering our country illegally because of the border wall and other serious measures. But there’s another big reason. The message we’re sending to the world now is, “Don’t try breaking into America illegally. This president won’t allow it.”
The Democrats’ Dream
The latest Fox News poll finds that 36% of Americans support abolishing our federal immigration police.
If that were to happen, the “flood gates” would open and America would drown in a tidal wave of Third World humanity.
That 36% of the American people in the poll are the globalist, Marxist, fanatical base of the Left. In the Democrat Party, they make up 59% of those who favor abolishing our federal immigration police. You can’t allow that party to govern you again!
Trump’s Economy
Of all the polling results I have seen in recent weeks, the one I’m most troubled by is the 68% of Americans who say President Trump is “not spending enough time on the economy.”
The leftist media blacks out 80% of what Trump is doing every day. What they do tell you about is twisted and spun to convince you it’s all bad. Trump is working on the economy. He’s doing everything he can—short of getting himself thrown into jail—to get Federal Reserve Chairman Jay Powell to wake up and lower interest rates so young Americans can afford a home.
Over the opposition of Democrats and some Republicans, Trump fought hard to get the One Big Beautiful Bill passed. If you receive tips, you won’t pay taxes on that money thanks to President Trump. If you have overtime income, you won’t pay taxes on that.
And by shepherding the bill through Congress, he stopped a massive tax increase that Democrats were pushing. The current estimate is there will be nearly $430 billion in tax refunds this year!
He has gotten hundreds of companies to move their factories back to the United States. He has gotten other companies to make big investments in the United States in exchange for tariff relief. Of course, it takes time to build factories, so the impact is not immediate.
Trump brought inflation down from a high of 9% under Biden to 3% now. He’s protecting American workers from unfair competition. Wages are up. Every day with no headlines, the Trump administration is removing job-killing regulations.
A major item in the One Big Beautiful Bill provides a huge incentive for companies to build new factories or make major investments in machinery. Previously, a company had to deduct the costs of new equipment over 20 or even 30 years. Deducting just a fraction of the cost isn’t much of an inducement for companies to invest.
Now, thanks to President Trump, they can write off the entire cost in one year. That’s why factories are starting to be built all over the country.
It’s also why, as we noted earlier this week, Democrats want to shut down the government again. If there’s another six-week shutdown, that will suppress economic activity.
Democrats want you stressed out and worried over whether you can pay bills or whether the company you work for might lose a contract. They want you to be on the edge every day so you will vote them back into power.
Omar Is Okay
You probably saw that someone with a syringe squirted a liquid on Rep. Ilhan Omar’s clothes during a town hall meeting. All day yesterday, the media talking heads were hyperventilating about the “unknown, foul-smelling liquid” as if it were biological warfare. It turned out to be apple cider vinegar, which some say we’re supposed to drink every day for our health.
I’m glad Rep. Omar wasn’t hurt. Nobody wants to see anything thrown on anybody. Well, I have to correct myself. Actually, it’s not true that nobody wants violence against elected officials.
We have seen time and time again that the unhinged Left wants Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, and conservatives generally to be assassinated, hung, or killed by some terrible disease. They even want pregnant members of the White House staff to suffer terribly and die in childbirth. They want the children of conservatives to be killed.
I can say without any hesitation I am glad Rep. Omar wasn’t hurt. I hope she gets defeated in the next election and deported if we find out she’s here illegally. But I would never say, and you would never say, “I want her dead. Too bad it wasn’t acid.” The media is confusing us with the Left.
Jew-Hatred On The Rise
A deranged individual “intentionally and repeatedly” rammed his car into the Chabad Lubavitch world headquarters in Brooklyn last night. Witnesses said the driver of the car had been seen around other Chabad locations recently. The attack occurred on a Chabad holiday, and police are investigating the attack as an antisemitic hate crime.
Meanwhile, the depth of antisemitism in the Democrat Party generally but specifically in the rising neo-Marxist Left is sadly evident even in some Black churches.
Rev. Frederick Haynes III is running to succeed Rep. Jasmine Crockett in her Dallas-based House seat. Crockett, who is running for the Senate, attends Haynes’s church, which may explain some of her antics.
Haynes is a raving antisemite who has praised Louis Farrakhan, another raving antisemite, as a “wonderful and great man.” On October 8, 2023—the day after the brutal Hamas massacre of more than 1,000 Israelis—Haynes told his congregation:
“Palestinians don’t have the financial backing from the United States that Israel has, and so they throw their rocks and shoot their arrows, and Israel is able to bomb them and kill them. . . It is totally unfair, but this country’s going to stand on the side of apartheid because that’s its track record.”
Hate kills brain cells. Has this “pastor” ever heard of Hamas? They are armed to the teeth. They don’t have “rocks.” They have rockets!
On October 7, 2024—the first anniversary of the Hamas massacre—Haynes was a keynote speaker at a Palestinian Youth Movement rally in Dallas. He has said that the “context” of the attack is rarely explained, which is “decades upon decades of atrocity and apartheid.”
Hatred of Jews and Israel and hatred of America are increasingly defining characteristics of a significant portion of the Democrat Party and defines most of the rising Marxist Left, even in parts of the Black church.
