Board Of Peace
President Trump welcomed leaders and representatives from more than 40 nations to Washington, D.C., today for the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace. The top agenda item for the board is ensuring a lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinians.
That will be a difficult task as long as Hamas refuses to disarm and give up power. But if that obstacle can be overcome, resources will quickly pour into Gaza.
President Trump announced that the United States was committing $10 billion to the Board of Peace. Member nations of the Board of Peace have pledged $6.5 billion to help rebuild Gaza. Indonesia has offered to send 8,000 peacekeeping troops.
Meanwhile, President Trump continues to assemble the greatest military strike force in the Middle East in decades. In addition to two U.S. aircraft carriers, dozens of fighters, bombers, and communication and refueling aircraft have flown to U.S. bases in the region.
This is not the kind of preparation you would do for a one-time strike. This could well be a very serious and sustained undertaking. So, we should all pray that a peaceful solution presents itself and pray for the safety of our brave men and women in uniform.
Celebrating Black History
President Trump hosted a White House event yesterday celebrating Black History Month. He began the event by offering his sincere condolences on the passing of Jesse Jackson. Trump said:
“I knew him well long before becoming president, and he really was special, with lots of personality, grit, and street smarts. He was gregarious and someone who truly loved people and a force of nature.”
The president noted that this year is the 100th anniversary of Black History Month. First recognized as Black History Week, it was established by historian Carter G. Woodson, who chose the second week of February for the observation to coincide with the birthdays of President Abraham Lincoln (February 12) and the famed abolitionist leader Frederick Douglass (February 14).
During his remarks, President Trump celebrated the contributions of Black Americans, saying, “We thank God for the strength and courage and grit and devotion of Black Americans who have helped make America the most powerful country in the history of the world.”
Black Activists Praise Trump
One of the speakers at the White House event was Forlesia Cook. After her grandson was murdered in Washington, D.C., in 2017, Cook became an activist for crime victims in the District, organizing marches and rallies. She said Democrat leaders wouldn’t listen to her, but Donald Trump did. Cook said:
“Thank God for this president. . . We needed the National Guard years ago. He brought it on. . . I love him. I don’t want to hear anyone talking about that racist stuff. . . Get off the man’s back. He’s doing his job. He’s doing the right thing. . . And Grandma said it!”
White House Pardon Czar Alice Johnson also praised President Trump’s leadership. Johnson was serving a life sentence for a drug trafficking conviction. But she wasn’t the typical drug pusher. She was a model prisoner and studied to become an ordained minister while she was in jail. President Trump pardoned Johnson in 2018 and appointed her as his “pardon czar” in 2025. Johnson said:
“This president right here, President Donald Trump, brought me from the prison pit to the White House. . . Don’t let anyone tell you that this president right here, Donald Trump, is not for Black America, because he is. I’m standing here today as a testament to how he feels about Black Americans. . .
“Thank you, Mr. President, and thank you, God, for recognizing and raising up this man to be the leader of the free world.”
There’s a constant narrative on the Left and in the “fake news media” of Donald Trump being a racist. But his policies—from school vouchers to cracking down on crime—help improve the lives of minority Americans. By getting illegal foreign nationals out of our country, President Trump is opening up jobs for Americans of all races.
At yesterday’s White House press briefing, a reporter, who has evidently not been paying attention for the past 10 years, asked Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, “Where or when does the president believe he’s been falsely called racist?” Leavitt, stunned by the question, said, “You’re kidding, right? I will pull you a plethora of examples.”
There’s not enough space to include all the examples of Democrats accusing Trump of being a racist. But I’ll give you one, just as a reminder of how disgustingly dishonest the Left can be.
Joe Biden said he decided to run for president after “Donald Trump praised neo-Nazis and white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia.” That was a total lie. Trump actually condemned the neo-Nazis and white supremacists. But Biden and other Democrats repeated that outrageous smear over and over again. Even after CNN said it was completely false.
Celebrating Donald Trump
Much like Mardi Gras in New Orleans, many Latin American nations hold elaborate Carnival celebrations right before Lent. This year, President Trump was the leading star of Carnival.
Many parades featured people wearing Trump masks and other individuals dressed as DEA agents reenacting the January arrest of Venezuela’s brutal dictator Nicolas Maduro. A new song by a Venezuelan influencer celebrating Maduro’s arrest was played at many Carnival parades.
While Democrats in Congress want to impeach President Trump for removing a Marxist dictator, the people of Latin America are celebrating President Trump.
They Think You’re Stupid
Democrats think conservative Christian voters are dumb and easily deceived. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton said as much when they mocked Christians for “clinging to their Bibles” and being “deplorable and irredeemable.” The strategy of insulting Christian voters didn’t work out so well for them.
So, now they’re trying to confuse Christians and lead them astray by disguising their anti-American Marxist policies with the veneer of Christianity. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s upcoming book is a perfect example. The book’s title, Go and Do Likewise, is taken from the parable of the Good Samaritan, who showed mercy to a stranger.
But Beshear has used his faith to justify sterilizing and mutilating children. Where’s the mercy in that? Referring to the enforcement of our immigration laws, he said, “If you’re a person of faith, you don’t want to see people chained at the ankles.” Really? I must have missed that commandment.
Of course, Christianity supports arresting criminals, getting them off our streets, and restraining them so they cannot harm someone else or run away.
Being a law enforcement officer is one of the most Christian jobs you can have—risking your own life to protect others. “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” or strangers.
Sadly, the Left has many accomplices in the pulpit. One pastor in Maine claims that women abort their babies out of love. If you want grandchildren, remind your sons to never date women who want to abort their children “out of love.”
It’s up to each of us to be aware and discerning and to talk to people we know in our families and churches who may be falling for this deception. And these “End of Day” reports are a great resource to help you do just that!
Heathens: Democrats Ignore Christians
Now, there’s a headline we should never forget!
As I mentioned in yesterday’s report, Christians all over the world celebrated Ash Wednesday as the beginning of Lent. The 40-day Lenten season concludes on the most important Christian holiday, Easter Sunday, the celebration of Christ’s resurrection.
While President Trump recognized Ash Wednesday, the Democrat Party did not. Our friends at Breitbart News checked the party’s social media platforms—Facebook, Instagram, and X—and found nothing mentioning Ash Wednesday.
However, they did find plenty of other messages celebrating Ramadan and the Chinese Lunar New Year. That shows you exactly where the Democrat Party is.
