The UN Freak Show

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the United Nations General Assembly yesterday. He was greeted outside the UN by a substantial demonstration. By and large it was a crowd of “freaks”—ignorant people who are growing in power and influence. More than a hundred of them were eventually arrested. 

They had signs accusing Israel of “apartheid.” There is no apartheid in Israel. They chanted about abolishing our federal immigration police. What does that have to do with Israel?

One of the Marxists who got arrested is a future member of Congress—Darializa Avila Chevalier. She defeated a Democrat incumbent in the primary for a district that would vote for Satan himself if he were the Democrat nominee.

Chevalier, a convert to Islam and a committed communist, founded an organization dedicated to “the total eradication of Western Civilization.” She hates America so much that she bragged about wiping her dirty hands on an American flag. 

Predictably, she doesn’t believe Israel has a right to exist. In fact, she attended a protest against Israel on October 8, 2023. That’s right—just 24 hours after the Hamas massacre before Israel even had a chance to bury its dead. She demonstrated against the victims, not their murderers.

Susan Sarandon and Hannah Einbinder were also arrested. Why do these Hollywood “celebrities” continue to think that we have some special need to hear what they believe about international affairs?

Moral Clarity On The Middle East

As Prime Minister Netanyahu began to speak, there was a substantial walkout among members of the UN General Assembly. He knew that would happen, and he called them out. He said they were “moral cowards” and “hypocrites” because some of the same countries had privately thanked him for taking out Iran’s nuclear program. 

Like President Trump’s UN address, Netanyahu’s remarks were a strong dose of desperately needed moral clarity. He aggressively debunked the disgusting lie about “genocide” in Gaza that has been repeated by people like New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. 

The prime minister noted how much Israel did to avoid civilian casualties and to provide food and medicine to the people of Gaza. Netanyahu added:

“Here’s the simple truth. Israel didn’t commit genocide. Israel prevented genocide. That’s exactly what Mr. Mamdani’s Hamas buddies would have done to us had we not stopped them. They would have killed every last one of us.”

To the leftists and Islamists outside, Netanyahu slammed their bigotry, saying:

“Where were you when the Iranian tyrants butchered and maimed tens of thousands of unarmed Iranian civilians? . . . Did you speak out for Christians persecuted in Iran and throughout the Middle East? No, you didn’t do that. Because you’re phony human-rights protesters.”

Just a reminder, virtually everything you are hearing about Israel and Gaza are lies. There is no genocide in Gaza. None. Period. There is no apartheid in Israel. Israelis are not living on land stolen from indigenous people. The Jews are the indigenous people of Israel.

El-Sayed & Iran

As I noted, a future member of Congress was arrested at yesterday’s UN demonstration. Well, a man who could well be a future senator from Michigan was confronted by an Iranian student this week about his silence on Iran.

Iman Dashti, who is a Christian, told El-Sayed that his family had been persecuted by the Iranian regime. One family member was sentenced to death. He asked Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed if he would condemn the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which has effective control over the country.

El-Sayed would not specifically condemn the IRGC. Instead, he played word games with Dashti, saying, “I will always stand with movements for freedom and democracy.” Well, what does El-Sayed think Israel is doing by fighting Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran?

El-Sayed also would not explain why he was silent on the death of Iranian dictator Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was sent to “paradise” in the opening hours of the war. At the time, El-Sayed told his campaign staff that he didn’t want to talk about it because “there are a lot of people in Dearborn who are sad.” 

Yes, I bet there were a “a lot” of sad people. It is telling that due to our immigration policies under presidents before Trump those sad people now live right here in the U.S. El-Sayed he was pandering to his radical Muslim base.

If voters in Michigan can’t see through his obvious and not-so-obvious hidden agenda, our country is doomed. 

But polling continues to show that some Republicans and Christians just aren’t that excited about voting. What about our responsibility to vote? You don’t have to feel excited, but we all have a responsibility to be good citizens. That means protecting our country from Marxist and Islamist domestic enemies. 

Colluding With CAIR

Four years ago, Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed spoke to the Oklahoma Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). During his remarks, he criticized a voter-approved constitutional amendment that banned the use of Sharia law in Oklahoma. 

Now, there are a number of historical and legal comparisons you could reasonably make, such as anti-Catholic “Blaine laws” or “Blue laws” that forced Jewish businesses to close on Sunday. El-Sayed didn’t do that. 

Instead, he compared voting for the ban on Sharia law to “driving Native peoples from their land two centuries ago, destroying Black Wall Street a century ago [and] bombing a [federal] building decades ago.” Somebody has a serious persecution complex!

The Left frequently tries to shut down debate by saying, “Words are violence.” Apparently, El-Sayed thinks voting is violence!

Good News

• Thanks to action by the Trump Justice Department, New York University Langone Hospitals and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center will no longer perform mutilating transgender surgeries on children.
• President Trump nominated Cissie Graham Lynch, the daughter of Franklin Graham and granddaughter of Billy Graham, to serve as the U.S. ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom.
• In a victory for common sense and women’s safety, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a lower court decision ordering the state of Oregon to house male criminals claiming to be women in women’s prisons.
• A federal judge blocked the University of California from punishing students who refuse to lie about a person’s biological sex.
• The North Dakota Supreme Court unanimously upheld the state’s law protecting children from sterilizing and mutilating transgender procedures.
