Bolton Busted

John Bolton, a key “Never Trumper” and leader of the Republican Party’s war wing, has reportedly cut a deal with federal prosecutors over his criminal mishandling of classified information. Bolton was indicted on 18 charges—potentially 180 years in jail. He has agreed to plead to one charge and pay a $2.25 million fine to avoid jail time.

After Biden’s rogue FBI raided President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago, Bolton went on national television and smugly lectured the president about his alleged “real disdain for the seriousness” of handling classified material. It turns out that it was Mr. Bolton who had a real disdain for the seriousness of handling classified material.

Antisemitism On Display

Reps. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY), who is enjoying his last months in Congress after losing his primary, are teaming up to fight a provision of the defense bill that authorizes closer military cooperation between the United States and Israel.

So, here’s a radical leftist and a radical libertarian, both motivated by not just hostility toward Israel but antisemitism. It’s really hard to say you don’t hate Jews when you hate the only Jewish nation in the world.

Closer defense cooperation is in the best interests of the United States and Israel. We share the same values, and we certainly share the same enemies.

Democrats get angry with President Trump for not building better relations with the socialist nations of Europe. It’s a constant theme: “He’s alienating us from our best friends.” No, they’re not our best friends, and they are increasingly at odds with our values. (Here, here and here.)

The NATO alliance formed nearly 80 years ago, and Europe never kept up their own national security spending. They just said, “Well, America, you take care of it.”

It is not hard at all to make the case that Israel is the best friend America has, especially compared to Macron’s France, Starmer’s Britain, Mertz’s Germany and Sanchez’s Spain.

Danger To Democracy

When we got up yesterday morning, Steve Hilton was leading California’s gubernatorial race, and Spencer Pratt was in a solid second place in the Los Angeles mayoral race. It’s now 24 hours later, and the vote totals are hardly changing. Why? Why haven’t many more votes been counted since Tuesday night? If anyone knows of a legitimate reason for this, please share it with me.

President Trump is sounding the alarm, warning that Democrats are trying to “steal” the primaries for governor and mayor of Los Angeles. Trump also wrote on Truth Social that the U.S. attorney in Los Angeles is investigating the situation.

In 2018, Republicans were leading in five California congressional districts on Election Night. Days later, as the voting counting dragged on, the GOP held only one of those seats. The trend is always the same. Republicans do well on Election Day, but when those mail-in ballots get counted, they’re overwhelmingly in favor of the Democrats.

Maybe that’s why betting sites Kalshi and Polymarket appear to be predicting that Spencer Pratt will ultimately finish third, losing to radical socialist Nithya Raman.

This is the threat to democracy in America. This is how our constitutional Republic is undermined. It is ultimately what causes a civil war. If people decide that their vote won’t be counted and that the system is rigged to make sure it’s not, you’re in uncharted waters where no one wants to go.

We Know Everything

In related news, President Trump spoke with New York Post columnist Miranda Devine. They covered a lot of ground in the interview, including the 2020 election. Here’s what the president said:

“The election was rigged. We know who rigged the election. We know everything now. You know, we have information that nobody thought was possible.”

I don’t know if the president is just trying to scare the Left to prevent additional cheating this November, if it’s psychological warfare or if he actually has a “smoking gun.”

Capitol Hill Circus

Members of the Trump administration are on Capitol Hill this week testifying about their respective agency budgets and other important issues. But that’s not what Democrats want to talk about.

Nothing makes me more depressed about America’s future than watching a Democrat congressman from Michigan who can barely speak English accusing the secretary of Homeland Security of racism. Thankfully, Secretary Markwayne Mullin wasn’t having it. He shot back, “Your party is the one supporting the guy that’s got a Nazi tattoo!”

Mullin also had a fiery exchange with Rep. Al Green (D-TX), who used his time to lecture the secretary about racism, clearly implying that Mullin is a racist. When Mullin objected to the smear, Green repeatedly yelled, “Shut up!”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio appeared before the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and somehow his shoes became a topic of debate. Seriously. You can’t make this stuff up! Rubio replied, “We’re talking about shoes. Are you guys kidding me? Is this the Foreign Affairs Committee or is this like a circus?”

In another exchange, a Democrat congresswoman from California wouldn’t let Rubio answer her questions, and she started yelling at him. When her time was up, he said to the chairman, “What is this? You get asked questions for five minutes, and you don’t get time to answer. It’s not a hearing. It’s like a dunk tank.”

The Democrats’ behavior is disgraceful. There was nothing going on in these hearings that resembled governing. Democrats weren’t there to get answers to vital questions. They were to stage Stalinist show trials. The only thing that was missing was the firing squad.

Making matters worse, far-left socialists, like Adam Hamawy, are winning Democrat primaries, pushing the party even further to the left. They’re not running on issues relevant to America. They’re running on making Gaza great again.

Trump vs. Xi

The whole country is focused on Iran. And it is so obvious that the Democrats want the American people to believe we have lost the war. They have no thought about what is good for our country. Everything is a political calculation, and Democrats have decided it would be really good for them if America lost the war. Let that sink in.

Meanwhile, here are some thoughts on the U.S./Communist China relationship and why we are so fortunate to have Donald Trump and his team in charge.

When President Trump was in China, the media, the Left and the war wing of the GOP, led by people like John Bolton, accused the president of kowtowing to Xi. Here’s the reality—and I know this to be true because I have talked to enough insiders to confirm it—both countries have the other country in a chokehold.

We are allowing them to have Nvidia chips, which they desperately need to keep up with us. In exchange, they are providing us with the rare earth minerals we desperately need to keep our economy running, build out AI and supply our defense industry. At the same time, both countries are doing everything they can to get out of the other’s chokehold.

If China advances on chipmaking faster than we advance on rare earths, we will be in an extremely difficult situation. And the reverse is true for Communist China.

The sad thing about our position is that we are vulnerable because of the incompetence of the people who have led us in the past. Who allowed America’s defense industry to become dependent on Communist China? That is a national scandal!

So, you will not see Trump cabinet officials making harsh statements about China. You’re not going to see the president say anything on Taiwan that might drive Beijing into a frenzy.

There was an unscripted moment in Beijing that almost the entire media ignored, and thank God our president is Donald Trump. Xi essentially said to Trump that as a show of goodwill, he should invite Xi’s puppet, the leader of the pro-mainland China party in Taiwan, to the United States.” Who knows how Joe Biden, Kamala Harris or Barack Obama would have responded.

But Donald Trump’s response was, “That’s a great idea. Why don’t I invite him and the president of Taiwan to come together?” Xi’s response was the Chinese equivalent of “Never mind.”

Fighting Fraud

This morning, the Trump administration announced a major crackdown on Medicaid fraud in Ohio. A top Justice Department official also noted that in the past 60 days, the administration has launched more than 550 fraud enforcement actions across the country. The problem of corruption and fraud in the government is enormous.

According to the government’s own analysis, fraudsters are ripping off taxpayers to the tune of $500 billion a year. That’s enough money to send every taxpayer a check for $3,500. It’s enough money to boost the child tax credit to $10,000 per child. Either of those options would be a much better use of the money.

Much of the fraud is located in cities controlled by Democrats, including Los Angeles and Minneapolis. Of course, there is also fraud in Red states. It turns out that some of the same Somalis ripping off taxpayers in Minneapolis were also involved in massive fraud schemes in Ohio!

But much of this fraud is linked to mass illegal immigration into our country. For example, 98 people have been charged in the massive fraud scandals in Minneapolis. Nearly 90% of them are Somalis.

Our founders believed we would only remain free people if we remained a virtuous people. That means we shouldn’t lie and steal. Our society is built on shared values and mutual trust.

If someone tells you they are struggling to feed their family, you don’t demand to see what’s in their refrigerator or their bank account. You refer them to a church food bank or offer to help them in some way.

Our society is built on trust, and that’s how we have run most of the government’s social welfare programs. We did it during COVID with the Paycheck Protection Program. Businesses were given money to not lay off workers. Lo and behold, we’re finding that many people took advantage of it because verification, if it happens at all, happens afterwards. (Here, here and here.)

The second part of this, as much as the Left doesn’t want to hear it, is that not all cultures are the same. That’s why conservatives adamantly oppose open borders and want to know that the people coming to America share our values.

Somalia is not a nation built on trust. It is built on corruption, and there are dozens of countries that are exactly the same. And when people come to the United States from those countries, they bring their culture of corruption with them. And it doesn’t take them long to figure out how they can exploit our trust and rip off the taxpayers.

Making things worse, they have built up a political network with Democrats to keep the racket going. We have audio of the attorney general of Minnesota meeting with these corrupt thugs and telling them he’ll get government inspectors off their backs. That’s why Gov. Tim Walz ignored and even punished state workers who warned him about the massive fraud.

Yes, fraud is a fact of life. It is a sign of fallen man, and the growing corruption is evidence of the erosion of our Judeo-Christian value system. But it is also evidence that not all cultures are equal. There is a reason America is a superpower and Somalia is not.
