Trump’s Deal

President Trump announced this morning that he was going into the White House Situation Room to evaluate the ceasefire extension deal with Iran. As always, the devil is in the details. In a Truth Social post, the president clearly stated what he wants to see in a permanent deal. But there are now reports that the president left the Situation Room after two hours without making a decision.

Here’s some important context in which this decision is being made: Available global oil supplies are running low—very low, according to ExxonMobil Senior Vice President Neil Chapman.

Chapman said that releases of oil from national strategic reserves and other measures had limited the war’s impact on global oil prices. But the remaining commercial inventories are now approaching “really, really low levels.” If those levels fall even further, Chapman warned that in two or three weeks, oil prices could spike to $150 a barrel or more. That would be devastating for the economy.

Poll Position

A new Emerson poll on the 2028 presidential race is raising eyebrows. It finds the entire Democrat field is looking at Pete Buttigieg’s butt—because he’s leading the race with 18%. California Gov. Gavin Newsom is on his heels with 16%. Here’s how the rest of the field breaks down:

• Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (11%)
• Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (10%)
• Former Vice President Kamala Harris (10%)
• Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear (9%)

Among Republican voters, there’s a virtual tie between Vice President J.D. Vance (36%) and Secretary of State Marco Rubio (35%). No other candidate received double-digit support.

Graham vs. Talarico 

Reverend Franklin Graham is a mild-mannered man and slow to raise his voice. But he is downright irate that Texas Senate candidate James Talarico is telling millions of Americans that the Bible has absolutely nothing to say about abortion. Here is Graham’s statement:

“Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico couldn’t be more wrong! The Bible is not silent on abortion as he claims—that’s an absolute lie. God commands us, ‘You shall not murder’ (Exodus 20:13). Abortion is taking a life—it is murder. . . 

“In 2021, this same Democratic candidate opposed a bill to ban men from women’s sports, saying that ‘God is non-binary.’ Don’t be deceived by wicked politicians spouting lies like this.”

One major issue early Christians fought against was child sacrifice. Deuteronomy 12:31 tells us that God “detests” and “hates” children being sacrificed.

Far too many churches already avoid abortion, claiming it’s a “political issue.” It’s a moral issue. But Talarico is trying to convince Christians to ignore abortion by claiming that the Bible doesn’t say anything about it. 

Well, as the Babylon Bee points out, the Bible doesn’t say anything about dropkicking dogs either, but we know it’s wrong.

Twisting Christianity

The religious Left, as we’ve been pointing out, is trying to steal the great images of Christianity and twist them to their own purposes. They will reenact the Lord’s Supper with everybody at the table being portrayed by drag queens. Periodically, we get so-called “scholars” saying absurd things like, “After more research, we’ve determined that Jesus may have had a homosexual relationship with Peter.”

Talarico is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and in that sense, he’s the most dangerous Democrat running this November.

We can easily see the evil of a candidate with a Nazi tattoo or saying that Christians and Jews who love Israel ought to be put in concentration camps and castrated. That’s serious but obvious evil. 

This evil dresses itself up in the clothes of our faith, which is exactly what we’re told the Antichrist will do to deceive the Church. But I digress into theology.

Speaking Of Theology. . .

James Talarico is a member of a liberal church that seems to be more about left-wing ideology than the Gospel. He has preached there several times. During one of his sermons, he referred to women as “our neighbors with a uterus.” He’s part of the leadership, in the broad sense of the word.

Many churches have libraries for their parishioners. The library at our church has books written by Dr. James Dobson about how to strengthen your marriage. There are books for teenagers about the importance of virtue and how to avoid the pressures they’ll face in college.

Talarico’s church library is full of pornographic books about children changing their gender, the “ins and outs of gay sex” and how “God is queer.” 

Christ kicked the money changers out of the synagogue. Can you imagine what He would do if He walked into this place?

Left-wing Hate

Democrats are targeting a congressional seat in Montana that they think is winnable in “Blue wave” year. But three of the four Democrat candidates who participated in a recent debate all took anti-Israel positions, some of which bordered on blatant antisemitism. 

Rep. Angie Craig is running for the Democrat Party’s Senate nomination in Minnesota. (In Minnesota, it’s the Democrat-Farmer-Labor Party or DFL.) But she’s not going to the party’s state convention this weekend. Craig said, “I’m a proud DFLer. Every letter has meaning to me. But the DFL endorsement process just doesn’t reflect the full scope of the party.”

Translation: Radical leftists have hijacked the DFL. Craig’s campaign is demanding the state DFL chairman investigate incidents of antisemitism at recent party events. 

State Sen. Mallory McMorrow, who is running for the Democrat Senate nomination in Michigan, said yesterday that there is a growing “antisemitism problem” in the Democrat Party. A delegate at the Michigan Democrat Party convention yelled an antisemitic slur at her husband in front of their young daughter.

While the “fake news” media obsesses over divisions in the Republican Party, there’s a civil war raging in the Democrat Party, and Jews and Israel are losing it.

Whenever a “mainline” denomination passes resolutions against Israel, I will get calls from people I know in Israel asking why Christians are abandoning them. I have to remind them that those denominations are shrinking and don’t have much influence. 

I also tell them, “By the way, when they’re not passing resolutions condemning Israel, they’re passing resolutions condemning the United States. So, of course they don’t like you. They don’t even like us!”

Well, it’s the same with the socialist leftists in the Democrat Party. They believe America was a mistake, that it was founded on slavery and genocide, and must be completely transformed. The Left’s growing hatred of Israel is a marker of the growing hatred of America in the rising generation of Democrats.

Jersey Revolution

The federal immigration detention facility in Newark, New Jersey, has been under siege by radical leftists for days. It’s hard to summarize all the evil, disgusting, revolutionary and violence-inducing things that are happening outside the facility in an area about half the size of a football field. 

There’s video of a woman getting right up into the face of a Black immigration police officer and screaming at him, “You’re a f--king race traitor!” A few feet away, another leftist is yelling at him, “Just go kill yourself, you worthless piece of sh-t!”

These left-wing revolutionaries are subjecting federal immigration police to a level of harassment and incitement that most normal Americans could not tolerate for 15 minutes, let alone hour after hour, day after day. 

In addition, Democrat politicians are taking turns staging publicity stunts by showing up at the facility unannounced and demanding to be let in. Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY) showed up Wednesday. After he left, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) got their turn in front of the cameras. 

Gov. Mikie Sherrill also tried to get in and was turned away. Now, she is demanding that the facility be shut down and the criminals be released back onto the streets. She has also banned state and local law enforcement from assisting federal immigration police with crowd control efforts.

This is a real insurrection against federal authority!

Leftists claim that the detainees, many of whom are violent criminals, are not being fed properly and don’t get enough recreation time or the finest health care. Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin said the illegal aliens “can go back to their country and get whatever food they want,” adding, “This isn’t Holiday Inn.” 

I can’t recall the last time Democrats protested over the living conditions of American citizens in public housing. I don’t remember the last time Democrats protested over the poor test scores of American students in failing public schools. But the Democrat Party is going to war to keep illegal aliens in the country.

What’s The Purpose

What’s the purpose behind this behavior? President Trump is not going to release the illegal aliens at that detention center. So, why are these leftist revolutionaries showing up night after night? The sheer ugliness of the reason ought to frighten every decent American. 

They are confronting law enforcement in such an outrageous way because they are hoping their actions will get somebody killed or severely injured, just like they did in Minneapolis. It’s been several weeks now since anybody died confronting immigration police, and they desperately need another incident. 

They will do whatever they have to do to create another round of hysterical media reports shouting, “They’re killing Americans! Donald Trump is a fascist!” The governor and every other Democrat politician there are smart enough to know what’s going on. And yet they enthusiastically participate.

You may have heard the story about Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin being asked how he could live with himself for causing so many deaths. He replied, “If you want to make an omelet, you’ve got to crack a few eggs.” This is what revolutionaries do. What are a few casualties in the quest for power? 

And, by the way, if these people screaming “race traitor” and “go kill yourself” ever get power, they will have no qualms, as one of them suggested in Texas recently, with putting us in jail and killing us.

The leftist media establishment is complicit in all of this. There had to be two dozen reporters who heard that man and woman screaming at the immigration police officer, telling him to go kill himself. 

Imagine if it was a conservative demonstrator yelling at a drag queen, “You are a sick man. Just go kill yourself.” There’d be a national emergency declared. We’d all be in reeducation camps before it was over. Every pastor would feel compelled to condemn the remark. 

That’s not who we are. But it is who they are.
