Trump & Populism Win Again

President Trump won big in yesterday’s primary battles. The Republican “surrender caucus” lost.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger ended his political career last night. Raffensperger, who was running for governor, finished third, while Trump’s endorsed candidate, Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, finished first. Jones will face healthcare executive Rick Jackson in a June 16th runoff. Raffensperger was clueless about the voting fraud in Georgia in 2020.

Georgia also has a critically important Senate race this year for the seat currently held by Democrat Jon Ossoff. The GOP nomination will be decided in the June runoff between Rep. Mike Collins and retired football coach Derek Dooley.

There were two general election races for the Georgia Supreme Court yesterday. While they are technically nonpartisan contests, Democrats and their pro-abortion allies poured millions of dollars into the races hoping to defeat two conservative justices. Barack Obama even recorded ads for the liberal candidates.

It didn’t help. Both Democrats lost.

In the Kentucky Senate race, Trump-endorsed candidate Andy Barr easily defeated Daniel Cameron, who is widely seen as a protégé of Mitch McConnell. I know Cameron personally. He is a good man, but he ran statewide before and lost. In November, Barr will face leftist Charles Booker, who is making his third Senate run.

The “main event” in yesterday’s primaries was the battle for Kentucky’s Fourth Congressional District, where I grew up. Rep. Thomas Massie, who voted against President Trump’s historic tax cuts last year, lost to Trump-endorsed candidate Ed Gallrein, a fifth-generation farmer and former Navy SEAL.

The race wasn’t even close—Gallrein won by 10 points!

The obvious analysis, which is being widely repeated this morning, is “Don’t cross Trump.” I agree, but I think that analysis misses the bigger picture.

Conservative voters have nominated Donald Trump for president three times because they were tired of a Republican establishment that wouldn’t fight. What’s happening in these primaries is the conservative base of the GOP is saying, “We want fighters in Congress, particularly now when we have a Republican president who won’t back down to the Left.”

A Tale Of Two Parties

While Republicans had a high-profile race in Kentucky, the Democrat “civil war” between their establishment and leftist insurgents was on display in Pennsylvania’s Third Congressional District.

State Rep. Charles Rabb defeated state Sen. Sharif Street, a former state Democrat Party chair and son of former Philadelphia Mayor John Street. And like Kentucky’s 4th District, this race wasn’t close. Rabb, a real radical, won by 14 points.

Rabb was endorsed by the Democrat Socialists of America, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Ilhan Omar. He represents the Democrat Party’s metamorphosis into a socialist, neo-Marxist and, in many ways, an anti-American party. Israel was a big issue in both House races in Kentucky and Pennsylvania.

Sadly, Rep. Massie, sensing he was headed for a loss, went all in on bashing Israel and “Jew-baiting” in the closing days of his campaign, which was funded in part by a coalition of left-wing and Islamist groups. He claimed Jews were trying to buy his seat in Congress.

Demonstrating just how infected with antisemitism Massie has become, he began his concession speech last night by saying, “I would have come out sooner, but I had to call my opponent to concede, and it took a while to find Ed Gallrein in Tel Aviv.”

Of course, Gallrein was not in Tel Aviv.

Rabb, who won in the highly contested primary in Pennsylvania, is an antisemite who has embraced antisemitic conspiracy theories. He posted a message on social media claiming that the Bondi Beach massacre of Jews in Australia was a “false flag operation” carried out by “Zionists.” He accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. Rabb also campaigned with anti-American and antisemitic influencer Hasan Piker

Rabb won the primary in what Politico describes as “the nation’s bluest [most Democrat] House seat.” He will be in Congress next year, representing Philadelphia, which has become a hotbed of antisemitism.

In these two races, you see the direction the two parties are going. It’s true there are antisemites in both parties, but the GOP fights and defeats them. The Democrats tolerate and embrace them.

They Are Coming For You

The left-wing media outlet Salon has published a very long article outlining how the Left plans to “restore American democracy.” Along with the usual radical ideas like packing the Supreme Court with left-wing judicial activists, this article suggests that the next Democrat congressional majority should create “a special domestic tribunal.”

To do what exactly? To put Trump supporters on trial and in jail. The author isn’t joking. He cites the post-World War II Nuremberg trials of Nazi leaders as his example.

A Democrat congressional candidate in Texas wants to use a federal immigration detention facility as “a prison for American Zionists.” She’s talking about concentration camps for pro-Israel American Jews and Christians.

House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries has already declared “maximum warfare all the time” against Republicans. Now, he’s threatening to “crush their souls.” He’s saying they are going to crush the hope of 77 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump.

That’s not the rhetoric of simply winning partisan elections. This is civil war language. This is revolutionary rhetoric. Any presidential candidate Republicans nominate in 2028 will be subjected to the same kind of rhetoric. We must understand what it signals about the increasing revolutionary nature of the Left.

How do you crush the souls of 77 million Americans? Well, you start by putting Trump in prison. Democrats tried that. You put conservative leaders in jail and kick conservative candidates off the ballot. Democrats did that.

You rig the system to make sure conservatives never win another election. Democrats are trying and they’re getting close

Of course, Democrats are doing all of this to “defend our democracy.”

But if all else fails, there are plenty of leftists who are willing to assassinate their political opponents. Polling finds that 25% of self-identified “very liberal” people say violence is acceptable to achieve their political goals. (Only 3% of very conservative individuals agree.)

Donald Trump has survived three assassination attempts in 21 months. Conservative Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh survived an assassination attempt. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise barely survived an assassination attempt. Charlie Kirk, sadly, did not.

Leftist leaders are the ones at war with our constitutional Republic. They intentionally stoke racial discord and stoke the sense that things are out of control. That is one of their primary tools. They used it to great effect with the riots in the summer of 2020, and they are going to do more of it.

Many leftists expressed their hatred and rage at Christians who gathered in Washington, D.C., to rededicate the country to God. Why? They hate Christianity. They hate God. They hate the Declaration of Independence and the men who wrote it. It is an impediment to their goals. That’s why leftists don’t teach it.

They hate the idea of America. They want to subjugate America under a globalist Marxist government.

That is the “elephant in the room” that many people on our side are still afraid to confront. Many Republican senators don’t get this. If they did, they wouldn’t be defending the filibuster and their precious “traditions” when the socialist Democrats are doing everything they can to erase our constitutional Republic.

And Democrats won’t hesitate to eliminate the filibuster the first chance they get.

Senator Thune greeted me warmly recently at an event. I suspect he receives my “End of Day” report. Senator Thune, do you believe what I just wrote? Do you believe the Left is out to destroy everything I love and everything that I know you love? Do you not see what is happening?

Evil In San Diego

One white antisemite and one Hispanic antisemite walk into a mosque and kill a Muslim antisemite. No, that’s not the beginning to a bad joke. It is apparently what happened this week in San Diego.

The two teenagers who attacked the Islamic Center of San Diego were unhinged antisemites. We have their manifesto.

But according to Not The Bee, a credible conservative site, the guard who stopped them at the mosque was also an antisemite. He made social media posts that appear to endorse Adolf Hitler and the Holocaust.

Antisemitism appears to have so permeated our society that it is hard for antisemites to go on a shooting spree without killing other antisemites.

Rewriting The Bible

The Chinese Communist Party has been rewriting the Bible for years. One of the first changes it made was to remove the First Commandment: “You shall have no other gods before Me.” Like tyrants everywhere, including here in America, putting God first is a threat to their power.

But reading how Communist China is rewriting the Bible reminded me of something else. Because they are a totalitarian communist society, they are literally “disappearing” the words in the Bible. Here in America, the Left doesn’t have that power yet.

But they are rewriting the Bible in their own way. They are telling us that its message is the opposite of what it really is. While the Marxists in Communist China are erasing the words, the socialists here are telling you the Bible could have been written by Karl Marx

Leftists claim the Bible supports big government taking by force the wealth of successful Americans and giving it to other people they deem to be more deserving. And they will claim that this is what Jesus clearly wanted.

Democrat candidates claim the Bible supports abortion as a sacred right. They describe Jesus in such a way that leads you to believe He would be leading LGBTQ marches in San Francisco.

In this great battle for America, Christians must be discerning.
