The FBI has warned law enforcement officials in California that it has intelligence indicating Iran may attempt to strike targets in the Golden State using drones launched from ships off the coast.
The Democrats and their media allies will likely try to spin this danger as something Donald Trump caused because he “launched a war of choice” against the Iranian regime. That’s false.
The key point is that this intelligence indicates the Iranians were planning these drone strikes in “early February 2026,” well before the conflict with Iran began on February 28th—a conflict that began because of intelligence like this that President Trump was seeing.
The Case Of The Missing Headlines
Today is Day 12 of the U.S.-Israeli military campaign against the radical Iranian regime. Over those days, we have witnessed an extraordinary performance by the brave men and women of the United States military.
Sadly, you wouldn’t know it from the newspaper headlines and the cable news reports. The American people are not hearing about the extraordinary military successes. Where are headlines like these:
“U.S. Destroys Bulk of Iran’s Navy”
“U.S. & Israel Air Defenses Successfully Shoot Down Majority of Iranian Missiles”
“Iran’s Ballistic Missiles Decimated”
“Iran’s Top Leadership Wiped Out”
“5,500 Targets Hit; No U.S. Aircraft Lost Over Iranian Airspace”
Instead, our left-wing media are spreading fear and defeatism. When they aren’t doing that, they are focused on nonsense, like what kind of hat the president wore at Dover AirForce Base over the weekend.
The front page of today’s Washington Post tells us that Democrats are investigating Trump’s presidential library. The Boston Globe’s top story is about the city’s struggle to raise money for the upcoming World Cup soccer matches.
When our media do write about the conflict, we get stories about the “far-reaching grip” of Iran’s new supreme leader and the danger of Iranian sleeper cells unleashing terrorist attacks on U.S. soil.
The “fake news media” are doing their best to undermine the morale of the American people and Iranians who want to live in freedom.
Women Seek Freedom
Before the conflict with Iran began, members of the Iranian women’s soccer team were in Australia competing in the Women’s Asian Cup. They were told by their government that they must stand and sing the Iranian national anthem at all soccer games.
But during their opening match against South Korea, a significant number of them did not. They were immediately labeled “traitors” by Tehran and warned they would be punished.
Six Iranian soccer players defected during the tournament. Two others planned to defect but were warned that their families would suffer if they did. The Australian government initially seemed paralyzed by the controversy.
President Trump called Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and told him that these women are real asylum seekers. Thankfully, the Australian government did the right thing.
Not only is this an encouraging story, but it is also an indictment of progressive, leftist women here in America who have said and done nothing about the suffering women of Iran. Their silence is deafening.
Beware Of False Teachers
Of all the disturbing things going on in the country that we need to be concerned about, a big one is the concerted effort by the Democrat Party to steal the Gospel of Jesus Christ to sell Marxism and moral depravity.
They are counting on Christians to not know their Bible well enough to refute their false teachings. They are also counting on the growing ranks of compromised church leaders whose congregations have no one teaching them the truth.
This isn’t a new phenomenon. I have been battling the Religious Left for many years, including people like Jim Wallis and Tony Campolo. But it is on steroids now. I will be writing more about this in the future.
In 2016, Hillary Clinton’s campaign used the “social gospel” to appeal to Christian voters. In 2024, there was even a group called “Evangelicals For Harris,” which is the equivalent of “Chickens For Colonel Sanders.”
Today, the poster boy for this Democrat propaganda is Texas State Representative James Talarico. You can’t just dismiss this. He is currently enrolled in Austin Seminary, working on his Masters of Divinity degree, and he is a very smooth operator and orator.
The left-wing theology he promotes is the same theology that resulted in the collapse of so-called “mainline” denominations over the past 50 years. Politically, all he has to do is peel off a small percentage of Christians by convincing them that he is a serious Christian and getting them to embrace his deformed “theology.”
Here’s just one of the many ways he twists and distorts the Bible.
Talarico claims that Jesus didn’t say anything about abortion, so it must be okay. If God and Jesus were against abortion, they would have explicitly said so. He goes even further to claim that the Bible is actually pro-abortion.
Talarico takes one of the most important events in our faith—when the angel Gabriel told Mary she had found favor with God and would be the mother of Jesus. He claims Mary could have refused God and, thus, she had a “choice.” So, abortion is okay.
He has taken the announcement of the Good News to Mary as a reason to celebrate the killing of babies in the womb. You can’t make up this kind of evil. The entire Gospel message is a gospel of life. Hopefully, we all know the verses.
By the way, there are a lot of things that are not explicitly mentioned in the Bible, including pedophilia and bestiality. But the whole message of the Bible rejects these perversions. These things are so perverse that to specifically mention them in the Bible would be disgusting and scandalous.
The Enablers
Sadly, there are enablers out there who make it easier for people like Talarico to deceive Christians. There are “pastors” preaching that abortion is an act of love and “a blessing.” And there is the premier example of David French.
French began his career working for great conservative organizations, including the Alliance Defending Freedom. But in 2016, he became one of the most unhinged Never Trump voices. He didn’t stop there. Today, he’s a columnist at the far-left New York Times, and his latest column praises James Talarico for being a decent guy and “acting like a Christian.”
His argument boils down to this: the Bible doesn’t say anything on much of what we are debating today. Instead, it tells us how to live and that we are to be kind, gentle, loving, and welcoming.
So, if a doctor wants to make money by cutting off the healthy body parts of a confused child, we’re not supposed to fight it. We’re supposed to go along with it because that’s how we should show our love for this child. If we don’t go along, then we aren’t showing the love of Jesus Christ.
These people argue that Christ also wants your child to be taught about this in school because how else will we tell the next generation of Christians what they need to believe and tolerate? This is the road to hell.
The argument of the Religious Left is that nothing is forbidden and nothing is evil except two things: one, saying there are things that are forbidden and, two, saying there is such a thing as evil. To the Religious Left, those are the only things that are forbidden and evil.
No politician with Talarico’s secular radical views would be a viable statewide candidate in Texas. But his “Christian” schtick appears to be working with some voters. The latest poll finds Talarico leading both incumbent Senator John Cornyn 44% to 43% and Attorney General Ken Paxton 47% to 45%.
It’s About Time
President Trump just announced that the United States is building its first new oil refinery in 50 years. That is great news!
But ponder that for a second. Why on earth is this the first new refinery in 50 years? America has been asleep.
They’re Back
There will be fireworks at Mount Rushmore this July 4th for America’s 250th birthday. It will be the first fireworks display there in four years. Why was there a four-year hiatus?
Oh, I remember—Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. They came up with any excuse they could find to shut down a grand celebration of America at the historic monument. “It’s a fire risk.” “It’s sacred ground to Native Americans.”
The real problem, of course, was that they saw the men on Mount Rushmore as “Christian nationalists” and “white supremacists.” Besides, they don’t much like these celebrations anyway. To them, how does celebrating America help advance globalism?
