Trump Defends The West

There were dueling speeches by world leaders this week at the big globalist gathering in Davos, Switzerland, where presidents and prime ministers outline their visions for the world. First up was Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. 

He delivered a depressing speech, claiming that the “rules-based international order” has been shattered and old alliances “ruptured.” Carney declared that Canada was recalibrating its relationships and following a new policy of “values-based realism” that is both “principled and pragmatic.” 

Prime Minister Carney is not off to a good start. Somehow, his “principled, values-based realism” led him to communist China!

In contrast, President Trump spoke about the incredible time we’re living in—a time that could bring “bigger and grander” opportunities “than ever before in human history.” Trump spoke of working together to make the nations of the West “stronger, more successful, and more prosperous than ever.”

He was very clear about how we would accomplish that and how there could be peace and order in the world. But first, Trump addressed what doesn’t work—uncontrolled, mass migration from Third World countries.

Referring to the Somali corruption scandal, the president said, “The situation in Minnesota reminds us that the West cannot mass import foreign cultures which have failed to ever build a successful society of their own.” He’s right.

The Left is obsessed with “diversity.” But diversity is not a “strength” if migrants cling to their historic hatreds, expect taxpayers to support them, and reject the founding principles of America.

Then, President Trump returned to his main point—how we achieve peace and order and become more successful and prosperous. Trump said:

“The explosion of prosperity and progress that built the West did not come from our tax codes. It came from our very special culture. This is the precious inheritance that America and Europe have in common. We share it. We have to keep it strong. . . 

“We have to defend that culture and rediscover the spirit that lifted the West from the depths of the Dark Ages to the pinnacle of human achievement.”

That “special culture” and “precious inheritance” President Trump referred to is Judeo-Christian Civilization/Western Civilization. Those values, based on the teachings of the Old and New Testaments, are the only hope for order in the world because they value the dignity and worth of each individual made in the image of God.

Those values led our Founding Fathers to clearly state that our rights come from God, not kings, not from totalitarian governments, not from socialist European governments, or left-wing American governments.

If the values of Judeo-Christian civilization are embraced around the world, there will be peace and there will be order. And the nations of the world can thrive and prosper.

Board Of Peace

President Trump’s Board of Peace assembled for the first time today in Davos, Switzerland. More than 20 nations are currently represented on the board. 

At the signing ceremony of the board’s charter, President Trump said, “This board has the chance to be one of the most consequential bodies ever created, and it’s my enormous honor to serve as its chairman.”

In response, once again, all he got from the media was carping and smears. Some commentators complained because Trump invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to join the board. Others said Trump was trying to replace the U.N. Well, the U.N. is full of people like Putin. 

Some critics said the board was doomed to fail, just like similar efforts before it. Maybe it will. But leftist commentators are usually attacking Republican presidents and claiming they are warmongers. “He’s going to start World War III and get us all killed!” They said it about Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump. 

When Trump takes out Iran’s nuclear weapons program or removes a dictator like Nicolas Maduro from power, the Left immediately runs to the bomb shelters, convinced the end of the world is near. 

Then the Left complains that Trump is not for more war, war, war in Ukraine. And if he wants to sit down with other nations to discuss peace, the critics say, “He’s undermining our allies. He’s weakening the U.N. He’s appeasing dictators.” 

The lesson here is simple: Don’t listen to any of this nonsense. It is all performative. Each critique is made up garbage.

A Mental Exercise

Predictably, there was plenty of criticism from the fake news media of President Trump’s remarks at Davos. “It was so awkward.” “Every time Trump got up, eyes rolled.” “The applause was tepid.” “It was tough to watch.” On and on it went.

Okay, let’s do a little mental exercise. 

Just imagine that the person at the podium in Davos yesterday was Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsom, J.B. Pritzker, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or any of the 2028 Democrat frontrunners. What would be happening? 

There would be thunderous applause when that person entered the room. The media would be fawning with praise, saying, “History was made here today. America’s position in the world has never been stronger.” 

And why would world leaders and the media be acting like that if it was a left-wing Democrat? Because there would not be anyone at Davos actually representing the United States of America. 

They would be welcoming another globalist committed to the globalist dream of erasing America. They thought they were making steady progress in getting Americans to think America wasn’t worth defending. 

What makes Davos so “awkward” is that America is now represented by one of the best fighters America has ever had!

See Smith Spin

Anti-Trump prosecutor Jack Smith testified on Capitol Hill today. It was a lot of spin and “he said / she said.” But it is useful to remember the actions Smith and others in the Biden regime took during their “inquisition” against Trump that were completely out of the ordinary and ruled unconstitutional. 

Rep. Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, provided a helpful summary in his opening statement.

• The Biden regime raided Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago. Government agents tore through Barron’s room and rifled through the former first lady’s lingerie. FBI agents at the Washington Field Office expressed serious reservations about the “lack of probable cause” for the raid, but were overridden by partisan hacks in Biden’s Justice Department.
• The Biden Justice Department browbeat phone companies to hand over the phone records of nine members of Congress, including then-Speaker Kevin McCarthy. That is a scandal of its own.
• Three days after Donald Trump announces he’s running for president again, Jack Smith is named as special counsel to destroy Trump. Smith promptly appointed to his staff the Justice Department hacks who forced the Mar-a-Lago raid and the seizure of phone records.
• One of those Deep State operatives was David Windham. He was subpoenaed by Congressman Jordan’s committee and “pled the Fifth” 71 times. He has been referred to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution for obstructing a congressional investigation.
• Next, Smith goes to court and demands a gag order on Trump, even though he never filed any claim or evidence that a witness was being intimidated. The leftist judge grants the gag order. But it is struck down on appeal by three Democrat-appointed judges for violating President Trump’s First Amendment rights. 

There are many more things I could point to, but even after the Supreme Court’s decision granting the president immunity for official acts performed in office, essentially gutting Smith’s prosecution of Trump, Smith didn’t stop. He doubled down, filing a new indictment just 33 days before the 2024 presidential election.

Just a few weeks ago, the editorial board of the left-wing Washington Post wrote that Smith’s legal jihad against Trump relied on “flawed legal theories” that would have “blown a hole in the First Amendment.”

So whatever else is reported today, just remember what these people, who claim to be “saving democracy,” did to destroy Donald Trump and cancel the 2024 election. And if they get power back, they will do it again. 

The Left’s Hate

This item is only for those with a strong stomach, and it’s definitely not for children. 

A registered nurse in Ohio, who is also the vice president of a home health company, posted a video on social media saying some really disgusting and vile things about the pregnancy of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. 

In the past 24 hours, I have also seen another video treating the pregnancy of Second Lady Usha Vance the same way. If you can tolerate explicit language (one F-bomb), I urge you to watch it because it reminds us of what we’re dealing with.

I guarantee you that the women posting these videos are all for abortion on demand all nine months of pregnancy. So, their concept of life is already deeply distorted.

I have spoken to many of our Jewish brothers and sisters who get very nervous when they have to go to the hospital because many people in the medical profession are antisemites. We are living in a time when many Christians and conservatives may have to worry about seeking medical care.

Cities Church Update

Three radical Marxists who organized and participated in Sunday’s invasion of Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, were arrested today. 

• Nekima Levy Armstrong, who somehow got rich while supposedly directing nonprofit anti-poverty initiatives, is charged with “conspiracy to deprive rights.”
• Chauntyll Louisa Allen, a local Black Lives Matter leader and St. Paul school board member, was also arrested.
• William Kelly, a left-wing lunatic, was also taken into custody. 

Unfortunately, there are reports that a federal judge rejected the Justice Department’s initial charges against Don Lemon. I hope federal prosecutors keep trying!
