The Left Attacks Prayer

The fake news media have already begun to move on from the Minneapolis church shooting. The facts don’t fit the narrative the Left wants to push. In fact, they are either ignoring the facts or lying about them. 

Well, I’m not moving on. We need to talk about what happened in the aftermath of that evil attack. 

It is revealing that the Left’s reaction to a horrific attack on a church by a transgender individual is to attack Christian prayer. The left-wing mayor of Minneapolis essentially said, “What good is prayer? These children were killed when they were literally praying.” That’s callous and cruel.

Instead of attacking Christians for praying, let’s acknowledge the very real religious aspects of this obvious hate crime. 

• The shooter hated Jesus. He used a picture of Jesus for target practice.
• He drew a picture of himself looking into a mirror. Looking back at him is a demon.
• His writings mocked God.
• He attacked a church.

What happened in those horrible minutes at that church was a confrontation between lovers of God and a lover of Satan. And what did leftist political figures do? They attacked prayer.

This is not new. There are growing numbers of atheists and nihilists who believe in nothing. Polls show they overwhelmingly identify with today’s Democrat Party. Not only that, they are the most politically active group in America.

Whether it’s communists like Mao and Stalin, the Left always attacks Christianity. Europe’s socialist liberals are now arresting people for praying silently in their minds. This same thing is well under way here.  

Remember when radical Democrat delegates “booed” God at their 2012 national convention? 

Remember when the Left attacked First Lady Melania Trump for saying the Lord’s Prayer?

If someone tries to pray at a city council or school board meeting, leftist politicians will shut them down. 

If a Bible club meets at a school after hours, Satanists will demand to have their club, hoping to make squeamish officials ban the Bible club. 

After every one of these tragedies, the Left cries, “Don’t pray. Do something!” They’re putting the best possible spin on their hostility to prayer. But what is the “do something”? It’s telling law-abiding Americans, “Give up your guns.” That’s the “something” the Left wants to do. 

But the Left’s hatred and venom toward Christians and prayer is the most powerful argument for never giving up our guns.

Left-wing Hate

There is a virulent hatred of God and Jesus in the political, ideological LGBTQ movement. We’ve seen it for years, decades even. 

• Art that depicts Christ as a drag queen.
• Drag queens who mock the Catholic Church.
• Plays in which Jesus and a disciple are having a homosexual relationship.
• The mocking of the Last Supper at the Olympics.
• A homosexual artist submerging a crucifix in a jar of urine and titling this “art” “Piss Christ.”

You will never see these “brave” artists mocking Mohammad in the way they hate on Jesus!

In addition to this contempt for Christianity, there is unhinged hatred in the trans movement of Christians. And there is growing violence by radical trans activists, encouraged by the Left, against Christians. 

Of course, women are also in the crosshairs of trans radicals. They have declared war on the idea that women have a right to privacy in their bathrooms and changing rooms. 

They’ve declared war on the very idea of women. They insist men can get pregnant and give birth. They insist that a man claiming to be a woman should have all the rights and legal protections of a real woman. 

Joe Biden’s notorious Supreme Court nominee couldn’t say what a woman was because she wasn’t a biologist. That had to be one of the most absurd spectacles in the halls of government ever, and the media ignored it.

God Was There

The Left clearly does not understand the purpose of prayer. Christians don’t pray to God expecting him to grant wishes as if He were a mythical genie in a bottle. Prayer is meant to praise God, to seek forgiveness, to thank Him for our blessings, and to ask for His favor and protection in our lives. 

We won’t know until we are with the Lord, but I believe that God was at that Minneapolis church. Think about the scene. 

A church is packed with little children and a small number of adults. Nobody inside has a gun. A crazed lunatic, probably a demonically possessed Christ-hater, is outside with three weapons. It is a miracle that the number of deaths was not much higher. 

It wasn’t higher because the Christians that morning did Christ-like things. Christian fathers barricaded the doors so the hater couldn’t get in. Christian adults in the room shepherded the children and led them in prayer. Older Christian siblings protected their little brothers and sisters, in some cases lying on top of them to keep them from getting shot. 

We often say that when Christ returns, He will not have an R or D next to His name. But it is also true that in today’s political struggle in America, the globalist secular Left is at war with Judeo-Christian civilization. 

Franklin Roosevelt was perfectly comfortable leading the nation in prayer at the beginning of D-Day. Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., prayed without ceasing as he created a civil rights movement that broke the back of segregation. Either man, if he were alive today, would be condemned by the secular Left. 

The Left seems more angered at the prayers of Christians than they are about the transgender killer. I say to them: “Enough is enough!”

I can’t take the Left’s claims about caring for human life seriously when they have turned aborting innocent babies into a rite of their “faith.” Gov. Tim Walz is very adamant in demanding more babies be murdered. He went with Kamala Harris to an abortion center in St. Paul, Minnesota, and they did a little dance there praising the baby killers. 

If the Minneapolis Catholic church and school announced they were closing down because Catholic families were aborting their children, the political left and Walz would celebrate—one less Catholic church and Catholic women embracing death instead of life.

These people have no business lecturing anyone about innocent life and how to protect it.

A Blue-Collar Boom

Artificial intelligence (AI) is the up-and-coming technology. It holds tremendous promise and also serious dangers. But one thing that is not in dispute is that entire professions are at risk of being decimated, if not wiped out, including many white-collar jobs. 

One of the first jobs likely to bite the dust is a career our political establishment has been pushing young people into as the “job of the future”—coding. AI is going to take virtually all of that over. 

It’s already happening. According to one analysis, there has been a 36% increase in tech industry job cuts related to “automation and AI implementation.”

So, people who went to college to become computer programmers will soon find themselves in a very difficult situation. Many white-collar workers will find themselves in the same position blue-collar workers were in when their jobs were wiped out by “free trade.”

Ironically, many countries, including the United States, are catching on to the fact that we have a terrible shortage of workers trained to do things with their hands. We have a shortage of carpenters, electricians, HVAC workers, plumbers, etc. 

These are all essential workers for a functioning economy. 

There are people out there sounding the alarm, such as Mike Rowe. He recently told Fox News:

“When we took shop class out of high school, we sent a pretty clear message to the workforce. We put our thumb on the scale, we made a real judgment call. Consequently, we have 7.6 million open jobs right now in those [skilled labor] fields.”

President Trump gets it. His administration is pushing schools to bring shop classes back and is funding grants to expand apprenticeships. Starting salaries for some of these professions are very good and get better the longer workers are in these professions. 

By the way, you can get that training without coming into contact with a leftist professor who will tell you there is no God, men can become women, and our country is evil. 

Machines are not going to put out fires. Computer programs are not going to catch criminals. We need first responders—police officers and firemen. We need people in the military. We need people willing to guard our borders. 

There are plenty of good jobs that don’t require sitting in front of a computer or massive amounts of student loan debt. 

Draining the Swamp

President Trump and his political appointees are working overtime to drain the DC swamp by ridding the government of woke, leftist bureaucrats. It’s a significant victory every time one of them is pushed out. Personnel is policy.

So, I am pleased to share with you the good news that Dr. Demetre Daskalakis (below left), Joe Biden’s former “monkeypox czar,” resigned this week in protest. He was a Biden holdover serving as Director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, doc! Thankfully, Dr. Levine (right), Biden’s former assistant secretary of Health and Human Services, is already gone. It’s disgusting to think these people were in charge of America’s healthcare!
