Border Hypocrisy

Border security has been a top priority for President Trump. As soon as he took office, he took bold action to close Joe Biden’s open border and to start removing the millions of illegal aliens who poured into our country over the past four years. 

And he has succeeded! Border crossings are now at record lows, and not one migrant was released into the country over the past two months. That’s huge!

Yet not one prominent Democrat has congratulated the president for his tremendous accomplishment. Democrats insisted the border could not be secured without new comprehensive laws, meaning some form of amnesty. They lied. 

But they’re so consumed by hate that even when Trump accomplishes something great for the country, they just can’t bring themselves to say, “Good job, Mr. President.”

Far from hailing the secured border, Democrats are furious that our immigration police must cover their faces. There’s a good reason for that -- leftists are trying to murder them and their families. 

The Left loved masks during COVID. They insist that antisemitic demonstrators have a right to cover their faces. But not our cops. 

The Biden administration, in its own way, hid the faces of the fifteen million people who walked into America. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris did everything they could to make sure we didn’t know any details about the illegal aliens pouring into our country. 

When illegal aliens showed up at the border with no ID, Biden, “No problema,” and gave them a government-issued ID with whatever name they chose. Biden/Harris even stonewalled efforts by state officials to find out what countries they were coming from. That would violate the illegal alien’s privacy!

The Left claims that Trump’s immigration police are grabbing people and “disappearing” them. That’s another lie. There’s a process every illegal alien goes through before they are deported.

Actually, it was the last administration that disappeared illegal aliens. They did it when they entered our country. Remember how they were flown to communities all over America, often in the dark of night and without any notice to local officials?

President Trump wants to protect the identities of our immigration police to keep them safe. In contrast, Democrats are trying to hide illegal aliens who shouldn’t be here. Why? Because they don’t want us to know that many of these migrants are violent criminals. Thank God President Trump is getting them out!

Speaking of disappearing things, here are some words that have disappeared from the vocabulary of virtually every Democrat leader: 

• Drug cartels
• Human traffickers
• International criminal gangs
• Angel families
• Identity theft
• Suppressed wages
• Burdens on taxpayers
• Straining local resources
• Caravans

They refuse to acknowledge the many negative impacts of open borders. Instead, they get up every morning trying to figure out how to bash law enforcement, put them at greater risk, and make you forget why we needed secure borders to begin with. 

Ambush Update

Here’s a disturbing update on the leftist assassination unit that ambushed an immigration detention facility near Fort Worth, Texas, on July 4th. 

Earlier this week, the FBI arrested Daniel Rolando Sanchez-Estrada in connection with the July 4th ambush. He is the husband of one of the Antifa extremists who attacked the immigration facility. Sanchez-Estrada was charged for tampering with evidence.

He entered America illegally more than 20 years ago. But tip of the hat to Joe Biden and his administration. They found him. Unfortunately, they didn’t kick him out of the country. 

They gave him a green card and allowed him to stay in America, no doubt believing he would become a future Democrat voter. Instead, he conspired to murder immigration police officers.

Don’t Make Me Issue A RINO Warning

Oklahoma Senator James Lankford chairs a working group called the Values Action Team (VAT) that regularly meets with outside conservative groups. I have attended many VAT meetings over the years. 

Surprisingly, Lankford got himself in a whole lot of trouble with conservatives during last year’s presidential campaign. Immigration was the major 2024 issue. Senator Lankford, seeking middle ground, worked on a compromise deal that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris loved.

He apparently bought into the Left’s argument that the only way we could secure the border is by passing comprehensive legislation. If he had prevailed, we not only would have failed to secure the border, but Trump could have lost the election if that issue had been surrendered to Biden/Harris.

Maybe it was just a bad moment. We all make mistakes.

But now Senator Lankford is in another controversy. He hired Matthew Arbo, a former associate professor at Oklahoma Baptist University. 

According to various conservative sources, including Breitbart, Arbo is vehemently anti-Trump and would have fit right in with Barack Obama’s Faith Office, which routinely used the Gospel to sell leftist programs. 

Among Arbo’s responsibilities are coordinating the Values Action Team that is charged with advancing conservative values and policy. But he’s regularly on the wrong side. 

• He argued against religious exemptions to the COVID vaccine.
• He mocked those who oppose Marxist critical race theory.
• He is reportedly weak on the Second Amendment.
• He is all in on climate change.
• And, no surprise, he’s bad on the border. 

Writing about Donald Trump’s border security and immigration policies, Arbo declared:

“If one believes that a border wall and more aggressive policing solve important immigration problems, then the methods for getting there are of little concern. In Christian ethics, however, we aren’t just about outcomes and the effectiveness of policies. There are other moral factors involved.”

He went on to cite “moral factors” like compassion and due process, which the Left has twisted to justify open borders and deporting no one. 

The American people were regularly deprived of compassion and due process when Biden flooded our country with Third World migrants. There was no compassion for taxpayers or the victims of criminal illegal aliens, and no one voted for open borders. Biden simply ignored the laws that Donald Trump is now enforcing.

So, Senator Lankford, who represents one of the most conservative states in the union, somehow manages to find and hire a progressive Christian whose views more closely represent the Biden/Harris administration than the Trump/Vance administration. Couldn’t Senator Lankford find a reliable conservative Christian in Oklahoma?

This incident epitomizes the flabbiness of the GOP establishment that too often doesn’t have the spine to fight for the conservative values it claims to represent.

Testing Teachers

While many people are fleeing high-tax Blue states for low-tax Red states, they are bringing all their leftist cultural nonsense to the conservative states. Oklahoma is getting its fair share of Blue state refugees, including many teachers. 

Fortunately, State Superintendent of Education Ryan Walters has come up with a brilliant way to sort the wheat from the chaff. Any teachers relocating from progressive states must pass a values test to get an Oklahoma teaching license. 

Walters is working with PragerU to develop a test that ensures prospective teachers 

align with Oklahoma’s values. They must demonstrate their knowledge of the U.S. Constitution, their understanding of American exceptionalism, and – in a sad sign of the times – their grasp of the fundamental biological differences between boys and girls.

There are irreconcilable differences in America today. As Jim Dobson and I wrote years ago in “Children At Risk,” someone will win and someone will lose this culture war in America. The winner gets to teach our children about life and death, love and sex. 

If you are fortunate enough to live in a conservative state, DO NOT take your blessing for granted. You must work tirelessly to prevent the Left from undermining the values of your state. 

Here’s an idea: State legislators should say teachers’ unions that promote anti-Americanism, antisemitism, and anti-reality/science gender theories are prohibited from organizing in their state. That would eliminate the corrosive influence of the National Educational Association and the American Federation of Teachers. 

There are many more things that can be done to ensure your state aligns with the values that made America great.

Disappointing & Dangerous

After years of speculation and talk about an “Epstein list,” it’s disappointing that people I trust now say there is no list and nothing else may ever be known about the Jeffrey Epstein scandals. This development is stoking a lot of conspiracy theories. Some are “wacky,” but others seem credible.

Here is a possible explanation for the Epstein list. 

We saw what the Biden/Harris administration did between Election Day and Inauguration Day. They were shoveling out billions of dollars to their radical allies. They were doing everything they could to cover up their unethical and illegal activities. 

They issued thousands of pardons and commutations. Traps were being laid throughout the government. And the autopen was working overtime signing who knows what!

During that time, everyone in Washington speculated that “The shredding machines are running 24 hours a day.” Of course, with today’s technology you don’t need an actual shredding machine. You just need to know where information is digitally stored.

It wouldn’t be the first time the Deep State and other elites have destroyed evidence.

I don’t think we should underestimate how the lack of accountability can cause more Americans to lose confidence in our government and our country.
