Joe Biden’s America

 

“Everything, Everywhere, All At Once.” That’s the title of the movie that dominated last night’s Oscars.  It also happens to be a perfect description of the disasters resulting from Biden Administration policies and neglect.  The disasters are coming from all directions, all at once, all the time. 

 

Intimidation and violence aimed at conservatives and Christians is growing. 

 

Last week, federal Circuit Court Judge Kyle Duncan was shouted down and prevented from speaking at Stanford University Law School.  Several university administrators were in the room at the time, and when the judge asked for a school official to restore order, he wasn’t prepared for what happened next.

 

Stanford’s dean of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Tirien Steinbauch, stepped up and proceeded to berate Judge Duncan instead of the fascists trying to silence him! 

 

Conservative journalist Molly Hemingway tweeted that the protest against Judge Duncan was organized by the Stanford chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, a “commie front organization whose ‘observer’ was arrested” during the Antifa riot against a law enforcement training facility in Georgia.

 

That was a Marxist-inspired attack, designed to destabilize society by attacking law enforcement.  That’s what the Atlanta police chief said.

 

A few hours north of Stanford University, a rally supporting detransitioners, people leaving the transgender insanity and exposing the excesses of that delusion, was attacked by Antifa thugs.

 

Across the country in New York City, leftist thugs disrupted an event featuring conservative columnists Bethany Mandel and Karol Markowicz, and physically assaulted former GOP presidential candidate Steve Forbes.

 

This is the real fascism in America today.  It’s not the right.  It’s the left that is attacking innocent people, shutting down free speech and threatening our constitutional Republic. 

 

The media is obsessed with a few hours on Capitol Hill on one particular day.  But this assault on our freedom is happening every day, everywhere all across America by real fascists who won’t allow conservatives to speak.

 

Some have suggested that the Stanford students were “snowflakes” who “melt” when they hear anything they disagree with.  That’s wrong.  These people are not “snowflakes.”  They do not intend to melt.  They intend to make you kneel! 

 

Some have suggested that law firms won’t hire these radical students.  No, they can’t wait to hire them.  Many major law firms are all in on this leftist insanity.  Big legal firms in Washington, D.C., refused to defend normal marriage and the January 6th detainees.  But they can’t wait to defend the Islamofascist detainees at Guantanamo Bay. 

 

Stanford’s DEI dean should be fired for violating the freedom of speech.  Every one of those DEI deans at every university and public school should be fired, too. 

 

Every GOP governor and state legislator should advance legislation abolishing these offices if they are getting state funds.  There’s enough bureaucratic bloat in public education.  Your tax dollars shouldn’t be funding Marxist revolutionaries.

 

 

 

Biden’s Banking Disaster

 

Last week’s collapse of Silicon Valley Bank has triggered another banking crisis in America.  Two more banks have been closed by government regulators, and a fourth bank is on the verge of collapse.

 

The fall of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) is quite a morality tale.  It was one of the wokest banks in America.  It worshipped at the altar of the left-wing worldview. 

 

For most of 2022, SVB did not have a risk management officer supervising its U.S. operations.  The bank instead relied on Jay Ersapah, the risk management officer at its United Kingdom branch.  

 

Ersapah, who defines herself as a “queer woman of color and first-generation immigrant,” seemed more concerned about making the LGBTQ community feel safe than ensuring that the bank’s practices were safe for depositors.

 

Last year, the bank made a $5 billion commitment to “support a healthier planet,” while running an unhealthy bank.  And over the past few weeks, the bank’s CEO managed to sell $3.6 million worth of shares before it went bankrupt. 

 

Just hours before government regulators seized control of the bank, some employees received $12,000 bonuses, while managers got $140,000 bonuses for their “great work.”  By the way, $140,000 is the annual salary for three families living in East Palestine, Ohio. 

 

And notice the speed with which the Biden Administration reacted to the SVB crisis.  The people of East Palestine have had to beg for help, but not the leftists in Silicon Valley. 

 

These bankers engaged in immoral activity, if not illegal activity, by rewarding themselves for failure.  But President Biden and Treasury Secretary Yellen are insisting that everyone will be made whole, and it won’t cost taxpayers a dime. 

 

Don’t hold your breath.  They’re referring to the FDIC’s Deposit Insurance Fund that banks pay into.  That fund has $100 billion in it, which sounds like a lot of money until you realize that $42 billion was taken out of Silicon Valley Bank by its depositors last Thursday alone. 

 

So, the $100 billion fund is going to secure the entire U.S. banking system?  I don’t think so.

 

 

 

From The Banks To The Border

 

There was another run over the weekend that didn’t get the attention it deserves.  More than one thousand mostly military-aged men attempted to run across the U.S. border near El Paso, Texas.  Fortunately, the Border Patrol was able to stop the mob and push it back.

 

Last week, there were a lot of headlines about two Americans who were tragically killed in a very dangerous part of Mexico, just south of Brownsville, Texas.  The problem is that the same people who are making parts of Mexico and much of Central and South America so dangerous are coming here in greater and greater numbers.

 

Yes, it’s horrible that two Americans were needlessly killed.  But 100,000 Americans are needlessly dying every year from fentanyl poisoning, courtesy of the communist Chinese and the drug cartels.

 

From the run on the banks to the run on the border and Antifa’s mob attack on police and innocent citizens, our nation and our values are under constant assault.  The barbarians are inside the gates. 

 

 

 

Looking Ahead

 

I know there’s a lot of division over who Republicans should nominate for the 2024 presidential election.  But whatever ends up happening, the nominee must run on a populist agenda. 

 

The events taking place from El Paso to East Palestine, from Silicon Valley Bank to Stanford Law School are fuel for the populist flame. 

 

The average American knows he is getting shafted on every front.  If the GOP lapses back into lectures about free trade, capital gains tax cuts and comprehensive immigration reform, which is a code phrase for “amnesty,” we’ll lose.  That’s not the mood of the country. 

 

Joe Biden is already shifting his rhetoric and even pivoting on some policies.  (Here and here.)  If we put up traditional Republicanism against Biden’s left-wing populism, we’ll be wiped out. 

 

But the left’s social radicalism is so far out-of-step with the American people, that it could take the Democrats down.  If we combine economic populism with social conservatism and America First foreign policies, we should win handily.

 

 

 

Breakthrough In Biden Investigations

 

Rep. James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, made an amazing statement Sunday that was buried by other news.  He said that four people closely connected to the Biden family’s financial dealings are cooperating with House investigators. 

 

Comer told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, “We have in hand documents that show just exactly how the Biden family was getting money from the Chinese Communist Party.  And I will tell you, Maria, it’s as bad as we thought.”

 

If Comer can prove that, it changes everything. 

 

So, any day now, you can expect major left-wing attacks against Rep. Comer, accusing him of misconduct, having affairs, paying for abortions, etc., etc.  That’s what the left does. 

 

Their effort will be designed to confuse Christians about whether he’s a good guy or not, because Christians are the base of the conservative movement.
