No More Hate

This may be a controversial position for some, but I oppose any more Muslim immigration into the United States. Period. Not until we have an airtight way of determining that Muslims coming here from around the world accept our Judeo-Christian foundation and Western values. 

Of course, I have met really good people who are Muslims. You may have, too. The problem is Islamism generally or political Islam.

Islamists believe in the values of the Koran and Sharia law. Under political Islam, Sharia law is much more than just a personal guide for pious living. It becomes the driving political ideology that Islamists believe must rule every part of society. Sharia law is totally incompatible with our values and the U.S. Constitution.

To Islamists, there is no separation of mosque and state. That’s why religious liberty is virtually non-existent in Muslim-majority nations. If Islamists get power in America, there will be no freedom of religion for Christians and Jews. (See next item.)

Islamists are driven by a religious commitment to rule over the infidel—Jews, Christians and other non-Muslims. If an infidel will not bend the knee, radical Islamists are under a religious obligation to kill him. It’s happened over and over again. 

Some Muslims may come to the United States to escape the harsh realities of Islamism in their home countries. But many Muslim immigrants are bringing with them not a love of freedom but the bigotry inherent in Sharia law. 

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who fled from Islamic oppression in Somalia, was asked in a recent interview if Islamists could assimilate in liberal democracies. She emphatically replied: 

“No. And you must never, ever think they can. Islamists do not want to integrate. They do not want to compromise. They want to dominate, to take over, to replace.” 

Every nation has the right to decide who comes into their country. We should not be importing bigotry and hate. Thank God President Trump understands that.

The Islamification Of America

Unlike Christians, Muslims are a unified voting bloc. Any Islamic candidate is guaranteed to win the overwhelming majority of the Muslim vote. We saw that when Zohran Mamdani won 90% of the Muslim vote in New York City. 

By the way, hate crimes are up in the Big Apple since Mamdani’s election. More than half of them—54%—were committed against Jews, while 6% of hate crimes targeted Muslims. But you’re going to hear a lot of lectures from the media and the Left about “Islamophobia” next week as we approach the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 Islamic terrorist attacks.

In the Muslim-majority city of Dearborn, Michigan, local officials decided to rename a street after a supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah. A Christian resident at a city council meeting objected to honoring a terrorist sympathizer. Mayor Abdullah Hammoud told the Christian, “You are not welcome here.” 

Two months after the October 7, 2023, massacre when Hamas terrorists brutally slaughtered 1,200 Israelis, the Muslim-majority town of Hamtramck, Michigan, renamed Holbrook Street as “Palestine Avenue.” 

Can you imagine any city in America renaming a street “Japan Avenue” just two months after Pearl Harbor? 

Hamtramck Mayor Amer Ghalib told reporters, “It’s just showing what Hamtramck stands for and what the community here stands for.” It certainly does.

There have been cases in Europe and the United States where Christians showed up to a Muslim march to hand out Bibles or talk about Jesus. The Muslims became enraged and turned violent. 

So, what did the police do? They told the Christians to leave or they were arrested. So, our religious liberty is already being restricted by a demographic that represents a very small percentage of the population.

Gloria Steinem, R.I.P.

Gloria Steinem, the “godmother” of the American feminist movement, died this week. I’m not going to speak ill of the dead. Compared to some of the radical “feminists” we have now, she looks like a normal human being. 

Steinem never had any children of her own. She once said in an interview that her abortion “gave me my life. I wouldn’t have been able to live my life otherwise.”

Translated: All I had to do was kill my own child and that empowered me to change America through the promotion of radical feminism.

Many of you know about Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America. It is the most effective pro-life organization in the country. The organization is named after Susan B. Anthony, who was a leading feminist of her day. 

She fought against slavery and for equal rights for Blacks and women. She led the fight to give women the right to vote. And she was horrified that a woman would destroy an innocent baby when only she can bring one into the world.

Donald & Dolly

President Donald Trump is being criticized by some people for lowering American flags to honor the late Dolly Parton. I disagree with the critics. She was an iconic American figure and the epitome of the American Dream. 

Through her own talents, she rose from abject poverty to become incredibly wealthy. And she used that wealth every year she was alive to help people like those she grew up with. It was totally appropriate for Donald Trump to lower the American flag for Dolly Parton, and 72% of Americans agree.

But think about this: If a Democrat were president today, I guarantee you the flags would have been lowered for Gloria Steinem but not for Dolly Parton. You can’t come up with a better comparison of the values of the two sides competing for control in America today.

A Glimmer Of Hope

The latest Harvard/Harris poll has good news for the GOP. It finds Republican voter enthusiasm is up and Republicans have a two-point lead over Democrats among likely voters in the generic congressional ballot. 

The poll also found that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has a higher net favorability rating among Americans than New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

The polling firm is led by Mark Penn, who conducted polling for Bill and Hillary Clinton, and is considered one of the most accurate polls. 

Bartiromo Out

It was a shock to hear yesterday that Maria Bartiromo had been fired from Fox Business. Her firing allegedly involved the reluctance of Fox News executives to air a report on Communist China’s pro-Biden meddling in the 2020 election. 

But today, she is saying through her lawyer that those reports are false and she has “the receipts.” Whatever the truth is, her talents will be missed. 

Good News

• The latest jobs report shattered all expectations—162,000 new jobs were created in August. Economists had expected only 55,000 new jobs. Even better, the employment figures for June and July were revised upwards.
• President Trump is shrinking the federal bureaucracy. More than 335,000 government jobs have been eliminated since Trump took office in January 2025.
• President Trump has also cut the number of illegal aliens in the country. More than 3 million illegal aliens have left the U.S. since he returned to office.
• The Trump administration is requiring all state-level agencies to report illegal aliens known to be in the country to the Department of Homeland Security, or they risk losing federal welfare funds.
• The Trump administration is suing a Kansas school district for refusing to inform parents if their child claims to be transgender and changes their name and pronouns.
