Congrats, Susie!

Susie Wiles is one of President Trump’s most trusted advisers. She plays an integral role in the White House. She was diagnosed in March with serious breast cancer. She has gone through rigorous treatments while missing virtually no time from work as she helps the president save America. 

This week, her doctors said she is now cancer-free. Congratulations, Susie! In addition to everything else, you are an example to women everywhere that this horrible disease can be beaten. 

Better Get A Second Opinion

If she has a moment, Susie might want to ring up Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed and explain the facts of life about breast cancer to him. 

El-Sayed, the Democrat Senate candidate in Michigan, is an epidemiologist by profession. If elected, he wants to serve on the Senate’s Health Committee, which oversees the federal agencies responsible for funding medical research. 

But in a 2012 essay, El-Sayed attacked the “Pink Ribbon lobby”—that is the name for advocates for more robust breast cancer research. He claimed that breast cancer got a “disproportionate” amount of federal research dollars because women have too much “social power and privilege.” 

What?!  If Donald Trump ever said anything like that, he would be drawn and quartered.

The power and privilege of the Pink Ribbon lobby, according to El-Sayed, was “deeply unsettling” because it took resources away from what he presumably felt was more worthy research on other diseases. 

For the record, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) dedicated $800 million to breast cancer research in 2012. That same year, 41,000 American women died from breast cancer. In 2012, the NIH spent $3 billion on HIV/AIDS research, which killed fewer than 14,000 people that year. 

I think it’s obvious which “lobby” has more “power and privilege.”

Are women in Michigan going to disproportionally vote Democrat as they have in other states for a candidate who mocks breast cancer? Are the husbands and fathers of women who have battled this disease going to vote for El-Sayed? I hope Republican consultants understand that these kinds of issues are have far more impact than marginal tax rates. 

Laura Ingraham speaks with emotion and authority about this issue because she battled breast cancer and survived it, as have women in my family. But this Marxist Muslim extremist thinks women with breast cancer have too much “privilege.” 

Where does he get this anti-woman worldview? Maybe from Islamic culture, where women are not treated well. 

Fraud & Corruption

The House of Representatives voted this week on a bill to create a new fraud enforcement division in the Justice Department. While the bill easily passed, there were 72 “no” votes—all Democrats, including socialist “Squad” leaders Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. 

It’s not surprising that Democrats would oppose a new fraud enforcement division. They have massively benefitted from the waste and abuse of your tax dollars. Yet, Democrats are trying to make corruption one of their major themes in the elections. The chutzpah is amazing!

In Michigan, Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed is running as an “outsider” and against “big money” in politics. But once he got the Democrat nomination, he quietly came to Washington, D.C., to beg Chuck Schumer and other Democrat “insiders” for help raising “big money.” 

Now, he’s going to California for a big fundraising event with the Soros family. Every attendee will be required to donate more than $57,000. 

Democrats and their media allies are making a big deal about how much money the Republican Party has compared to the Democrat National Committee. Well, the radicalized base of the Democrat Party hates the DNC. That base donates directly to their favorite socialist, Islamist Democrat candidates.

In almost every major congressional race, Democrat candidates are massively outraising Republican candidates. And they’re doing it with the help of a totally fraudulent and corrupt outfit called ActBlue.

Sheeran vs. Macklemore

We’ve been following with great interest the Ed Sheeran controversy. Actually, he’s not the issue. Ed Sheeran is a great entertainer. I could name a dozen songs that my family and I sing along to. But for some unknown reason, he allowed rapper Macklemore to be the opening act for his latest tour. 

Sheeran, who seems to live a pretty normal life, does not use his concerts as a platform to make ideological statements. But Macklemore does. At previous concerts, he has yelled, “F—k America” on stage. He also has a history of antisemitic behavior.

At a recent concert in New Jersey, Macklemore dropped the F-bomb on Israel. He started chanting “Free Palestine” and then went on a rant about “genocide” in Gaza. 

There is no “Palestine,” and there is no genocide. After World War II began, the Nazis killed 70% of the Jews who remained in Germany. That is a genocide. They created death camps to systematically murder of all Jews in Europe. They killed 90% of Polish Jews. That is a genocide.

Since Israel launched its war of self-defense after the Hamas atrocities of October 7, 2023, 3% of the Palestinian population of Gaza has died in the war. That is not a genocide. Israel is not creating death camps, nor is it deliberately targeting innocent civilians the way Hamas did. There is no “genocide” in Gaza.

Kudos to the NFL owners who made it clear that Macklemore’s hate was not welcome at their stadiums. They include Robert Kraft (New England Patriots), David Tepper (Carolina Panthers), Arthur Blank (Atlanta Falcons) and Jeffrey Laurie (Philadelphia Eagles). 

As a result of Macklemore’s antisemitic outburst and the courage of these NFL owners, Macklemore was dropped from Ed Sheeran’s tour. But other singers who performed during the pre-concert act quit in “solidarity” with the antisemitic rapper. 

Good vs. Evil

If you have any doubt about the battle between good and evil that is raging in America and around the world, consider this: Ed Sheeran has lost more than 300,000 followers on social media since this controversy. The antisemitic rapper has gained 2.1 million followers. 

What is far more likely to end America is not runaway AI. It is the complex of educational elites, globalist elites, popular culture and leftist media that is teaching the children of America to hate everything we believe in while it calls good evil and calls evil good.

Day Of Atonement

Jews throughout the world will observe Yom Kippur Sunday evening. Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the Jewish year, and it is a solemn day. It is known as the Day of Atonement because it marks God’s forgiveness of His chosen people for the sin of worshiping the golden calf.

Many Israelis remember the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Arab armies took advantage of the holiday to launch a surprise attack against Israel. After intense fighting throughout the month of October, Israel ultimately prevailed.

Once again, Israel is fighting for its right to exist against Islamic supremacists who, once again, exploited a Jewish holiday to launch a surprise attack. To many Jews and Israelis, what we call the “October 7th attack” is known as the “Simchat Torah Massacre.” In three weeks, we will mark the third anniversary of that horrific atrocity.
