Ilhan’s Alias & Her Bizarre Response
Some people may see this as a distraction, but there is definitely something deeply wrong involving Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Little Mogadishu). For one thing, we now know that her name is not Omar.
According to court documents filed by the federal government related to her search warrant, her legal name is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi. Omar is an alias. It’s not entirely clear when or why she adopted that name.
On a recent MS NOW appearance, Elmi was asked to confirm whether her second husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, was actually her brother. Her response was bizarre. She replied, “Not to my knowledge.”
The obvious journalistic follow-up would be, “Excuse me? Just to clarify, you’re not sure whether you married your brother? Are you suggesting it’s possible and didn’t know it?” Alas, you don’t get real journalism on MS NOW.
Rep. Ilhan Elmi’s marriage history is just as bizarre. I’ll try to make this as simple as I can.
- In 2002, she “religiously married” Ahmed Hirsi, the father of her three children.
- In 2009, she legally married Ahmed Elmi.
- In 2011, she “religiously divorced” Elmi.
- In 2014 and 2015, she filed taxes claiming Hirsi, not Elmi, as her husband.
- In 2017, she legally divorced Elmi.
- In 2018, she legally married Hirsi.
- In 2019, she legally divorced Hirsi.
- In 2020, she “religiously” and legally married Tim Mynett.
You can see why there have been persistent questions about her marriages!
Why It Matters
This is important for a number of reasons. We all know there have been two standards of law in America—one for conservatives and Christians and one for the Left. It’s one of the issues that inspired the Trump phenomenon. And the Trump administration is doing everything they can to stop that legal double standard.
Here’s another example. State Sen. Louise Lucas (D-VA) has been a political powerbroker in Virginia for decades. Her corruption was well-known. Lucas was finally indicted last week and just arrested, along with at least three immediate family members. They are facing federal charges of money laundering, bribery and illegal distribution of marijuana.
Lucas, 82, claimed that her illegal marijuana business was her “last chance to build generational wealth.” She also claimed that the indictment was an attempt to “silence” her. And, of course, she compared it to “Jim Crow.”
Talk about chutzpah! Lucas led the obscene and unconstitutional redistricting effort that tried to wipe out virtually all of Virginia’s Republican congressional districts.
Ilhan “Omar” is also an example of the fraud that has permeated the immigration system for decades. Last year, a major review of immigration cases in Minneapolis found that nearly half of the individuals involved had engaged in some sort of immigration-related fraud. And that’s an entirely separate issue from the rampant fraud and theft of taxpayer money.
But the entire Democrat Party and the media are falling on their swords for Ilhan “Omar”—a woman who was saved by America and made her career out of hating America.
Look at how they rally around her while they try to destroy a legal immigrant named Elon Musk. “Omar” has created nothing. Zero. Zilch. She has subtracted from America’s well-being. Musk has done more for America’s future, our economy and the creation of jobs than any living human being. Yet, the Democrat Party boldly announces that they are going to destroy Musk.
If you’re a young American trying to figure out how to vote this year, just think about that contrast. Ask yourself this question: Is my future better off in the hands of more people like Ilhan “Omar” or more entrepreneurs and job creators like Elon Musk? That shouldn’t be a difficult question to answer.
Ignore The Leftist Hysteria
The Trump administration took a big step today to support election integrity, and Democrats and their media allies are freaking out. The Justice Department went into federal court seeking an order to delay certification of the Alaska Senate election results depending on the outcome.
Why would they do that? Because in addition to running against the Democrat candidate, incumbent Republican Senator Dan Sullivan is also running against a so-called “independent candidate” named Dan Sullivan.
But this “independent” candidate is really a Democrat. He’s acting as a spoiler by trying to confuse conservative voters and siphon off just enough votes to elect a far-left Democrat.
These kinds of dirty tricks are why many people are so cynical about politics. So, when you hear the Left’s hysterical screaming about “Trump threatening democracy,” ignore it. It’s Democrat dirty tricks that are threatening the democratic process.
Talarico, Terrorists & Teachers
Two developments from Texas perfectly demonstrate the Marxist/Islamist alliance that may already have complete control of the Democrat Party.
First, James Talarico had a closed-door meeting last week with Texas Muslim leaders, including officials from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a designated terrorist group in the state of Texas. No wonder he met with them behind closed doors.
At the same time, a photo of a group of Texas teachers went viral. The photo went viral because they were posing in their school wearing their Talarico t-shirts. These teachers and their school district led the legal fight to block the display of the Ten Commandments in Texas public schools.
Talarico. Radical Islamists. Teachers opposed to the Ten Commandments. There it is, folks. The socialist/Marxist/Islamist alliance that has only one thing in common: They want to destroy Judeo-Christian civilization.
Vance Leads Rally In Prayer
Vice President JD Vance was speaking at a Nebraska rally yesterday when a woman in the bleachers behind him suddenly collapsed. Vance paused his speech for a moment, then said:
“While they’re working on her, maybe those who are of the praying type would join me in a prayer. I always in moments like this try to pray as the Lord taught us to pray.
“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory now and forever. Amen.”
What a wonderful spontaneous moment! Vance then went into the bleachers to personally check on the woman.
I couldn’t help but remember a moment at a Kamala Harris rally as the 2024 presidential campaign was drawing to a close. A young man stood up and yelled, “Jesus is Lord!” A friend who was with him shouted, “Christ is King!”
Harris’s instinctive response: “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally!”
At the time, I thought about all those Black churches she spoke at. If someone in the congregation jumped up and yelled, “Jesus is Lord,” would she have him kicked out?
It’s striking how so much of the Democrat Party coalition just isn’t paying attention or just doesn’t seem to care what the party thinks of them.
Desperate Democrats Trot Out Bill Clinton
The Left wants to silence Bible-believing Christians while at the same time they are trying to steal the gospel of Jesus Christ to justify their Marxist socialist policies. James “Talafreako” has done this on steroids. Virtually every sentence out of his mouth when he claims he stands with Jesus makes it clear he really stands with Karl Marx and the radical trans agenda.
How deep does this strategy to confuse Christian voters go? Well, Democrats dusted off that paragon of virtue, Bill Clinton, and trotted him out for an interfaith event to support Florida’s flailing Democrat candidate for governor. Clinton was president the last time Florida had a Democrat governor.
Clinton urged Democrat activists to get out the vote by quoting scripture. He said, “‘Let us not grow weary in doing good’ is one of the Bible’s most important promises. ‘For in due season we will reap if we do not faint.’”
“Doing good” does not mean promoting candidates and policies that are pro-abortion and anti-religious freedom.
But Clinton’s remarks are revealing. Democrats know the Christian vote can save America from the Marxist/Islamist alliance. That’s why they are so desperate to confuse as many Christians as possible.
The further they move away from Christians and Jews, the more Democrats have to trot out deceivers and liars. Otherwise, they wouldn’t get any Christian votes.
By the way, Franklin Graham is urging Christian citizens to “look prayerfully at what both parties stand for” as they consider their decisions in this critical election year.
