The Real Insurrection
Democrats and their left-wing media allies are running around with their hair on fire over reports of another shooting involving federal immigration police. The incident occurred yesterday in Portland, Oregon. Here are the facts Big Media want to ignore.
Federal immigration police engaged in a “targeted traffic stop,” meaning they knew exactly who was in the car. Both individuals were illegal aliens and members of the vicious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. One of the individuals was also involved in a prostitution ring.
When federal immigration police approached the car, the driver attempted to run over the officers and fled the scene. One of the immigration police officers fired in self-defense. Later, the driver called 911 to say he and his wife had been shot. They both survived.
Yet with no other facts, Oregon’s entire political leadership, including Portland’s communist mayor, held a press conference with stricken faces like valued members of the community had been harmed.
Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield issued a statement expressing his “concerns with excessive use of force by federal agents in Portland and nationally.” Rayfield also hinted that the federal agents may be prosecuted.
Prosecuted for what?! The immigration police defended themselves when a criminal illegal alien gang member tried to kill them with his car. But these leftist politicians are standing with illegal alien gang members over our federal immigration police.
This is all part of the growing left-wing resistance to our immigration laws being enforced. I believe it is bordering on an outright insurrection.
This is way beyond anything that happened on Capitol Hill for a few hours on January 6, 2021. Left-wing cities and states are engaged in open defiance of federal law.
This is an attack on our democracy. President Trump was elected to do just this—get illegal aliens out of our country. The laws these insurrectionists are resisting were passed by Congress and upheld by the courts.
What Democrats are doing today is no different than what Democrats like George Wallace did resisting integration. That resistance could not be allowed to stand. President Dwight Eisenhower federalized the Arkansas National Guard and deployed those troops to ensure the law was enforced.
This resistance to our immigration laws cannot be allowed to stand.
Putting Americans Last
Oregon Governor Tina Kotek and Portland Mayor Keith Wilson both called on federal immigration police to stop their enforcement operations while the state investigation into yesterday’s incident continues.
By making this demand, the governor and the mayor just told every member of Tren de Aragua that they have nothing to worry about from Oregon state officials. That shows just how perverted the Left’s priorities are—they want illegal alien gang members to stay in their communities and federal immigration police to leave!
During Biden’s four years, Tren de Aragua and other violent foreign gangs poured into the United States. But you never heard the Biden administration saying, “We caught these vicious gang members at the border.” No, they “processed” them and let them invade our neighborhoods.
As a result, Tren de Aragua now has thousands of members in the U.S. and substantial footholds in 19 states. Thank God President Trump is committed to getting these thugs out of our country!
By the way, the U.S. experienced a historic drop in homicides last year. Is it just a coincidence that it coincided with Trump’s serious efforts to deport criminal illegal aliens? I don’t think so.
But Democrats are demanding that we abolish our federal immigration police. They are even threatening to shut down government to do so. More evidence that they don’t want a single illegal alien removed from the country.
Leftist Hypocrisy
Minneapolis is a so-called “sanctuary city.” That means the local police will not cooperate with federal immigration police. Keep that in mind the next time you see images like these of immigration police surrounded by radical leftist demonstrators.
Federal officers will call 911, asking the local police for help with crowd control, but the police don’t come. Of course, that’s part of the plan. If federal immigration police are forced to do crowd control, they’re not getting illegal aliens out of the country.
But the same leftist politicians who refuse to let the Minneapolis police assist federal immigration officers and who told federal immigration police to “Get the f--- out of Minneapolis” are now furious that they have been locked out of the investigation of Renee Good’s death.
Politicians who refuse to cooperate with federal agents shouldn’t be surprised when federal agents refuse to cooperate with them!

Renee Good should be alive today and would be if not for leftist ideology. Sadly, she made a series of bad choices, most especially her decision to endanger the life of a federal officer.
Now the same people who gave us “Maryland Dad” are trying to turn Renee Good into “Minneapolis Mom.” But just as we learned more about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, we’re also learning more about Good.
After Donald Trump won the 2024 election, Good and her “wife” moved to Canada. Later, they moved to Minneapolis specifically because it was a sanctuary city. Good wasn’t an innocent bystander in Wednesday’s events. She wasn’t there to pray or support her “neighbors.”
She was a trained activist with the left-wing group ICE Watch. The purpose of ICE Watch is to disrupt immigration enforcement efforts and prevent federal immigration police from detaining and deporting illegal aliens.
ICE Watch is part of the vast left-wing network we reported on this week. This network thrives in Democrat-run cities. It is funded largely by communist Chinese operatives, and its purpose is to drive radical socialists, Marxists, and anarchists into the streets in open rebellion against the United States.
There is no doubt that Renee Good was up to no good, but don’t take my word for it. Good’s “wife” was recorded at the scene of her death saying, “I made her come down here. It’s my fault.” In other words, Good never should have been there in the first place. Now she is just another victim of leftist ideology.
In addition, NBC News just released new video that clearly shows the federal immigration police officer being hit and knocked over by Good’s SUV.
A Striking Contrast
Good’s death has set off a wave of national anger and mourning by radical activists, left-wing politicians, and progressive religious leaders. But you will look in vain to find one word of sorrow from any of those people when Charlie Kirk was assassinated. In fact, many of them celebrated his brutal murder.
Good was shot while interfering with federal law enforcement. Kirk was shot because he dared to defend conservative views on a college campus. But the Left expects the whole country to stop everything and get on our knees over Good, while Kirk “deserved it” because he was “right-wing.”
These people have no claim on compassion. If, God forbid, Donald Trump died today, they would celebrate.
I watched a press conference of “religious leaders” in Minneapolis making all kinds of ridiculous statements. The first question they should have been asked is, “Pastor, you just made a really powerful statement about the death of Renee Good. Could you share the statement you made when Charlie Kirk was assassinated?”
Well, we know what the Left said because many of them got fired for it.
Minneapolis & Israel
There is a shocking, but not surprising, report detailing how far-left, pro-Palestinian groups and individuals attempted to exploit Renee Good’s death—by blaming Israel and “Zionists” for her death. How sick is that?
Twenty-four hours after Good’s death, the Jewish Onliner identified more than 40,000 social media posts—with nearly 260,000 interactions and potentially 2.6 billion views—that falsely claimed federal immigration police officers were trained by or are members of the Israel Defense Forces. Here are a few examples:
“ICE agents are acting just like IDF soldiers but maybe it’s because some of them actually are?”
“We are witnessing the full Israelification of the United States.”
“Over 120 [federal immigration police] agents in Chicago are straight from the Israeli Defense Forces!”
Many of the sites pushing this antisemitic, anti-Israel garbage are based in foreign countries and tied to Russian and Iranian propaganda efforts.
More Jobs
The economy created 50,000 new jobs in December, matching the monthly average of 49,000 new jobs created during 2025. The unemployment rate fell from 4.6% to 4.4%. Wages were up 3.8% for the year, well ahead of inflation.
The Trump economy is firing on all cylinders, growing at 3.8% in the second quarter and 4.1% in the third quarter. The latest estimate from the Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank shows the economy grew at a blistering pace of 5.4% in the fourth quarter.
In addition, the U.S. trade deficit shrank to its lowest level in 14 years, with U.S. exports growing by 2.6%.
