Fighting For You

The National Faith Advisory Board (NFAB) is in Washington, D.C., this week for high-level meetings. (Just to clarify, the National Faith Advisory Board does not advise the president about his faith. From what he said at the National Christmas tree lighting, which was a true presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I’m not sure he needs much advice.)

The purpose of the advisory board is to give President Trump advice and counsel on issues he can actually do something about that are of interest to people of faith, particularly Christians. 

In that regard, the leadership of the board, including White House Faith Director Jenny Korn and NFAB Founder and White House Senior Advisor Pastor Paula White-Cain, has been doing an outstanding job. 

Most of today and tomorrow will involve meetings on Capitol Hill, with members of the cabinet and high-level officials in various departments, and in the White House. I am honored to serve on this body representing you.

Children At Risk

As we have said for 40 years, the battle raging in America is ultimately about who has control of our children. Dr. James Dobson and I devoted an entire book to it called “Children At Risk.” If one ideology seizes control of the children, they can change the country in one generation. 

That’s why the LGBTQ colossus fights to the death to bring drag queens into kindergartens. That’s why they fight to teach second and third graders all about sodomy. 

That’s why they want to make sure every child at the earliest age knows, “You get to choose your sex and gender, not your bigoted parents and the insane doctor who assigned your sex at birth just by looking at you.”

The latest entry in this battle for the hearts and minds of our children comes from the radical group Shout Your Abortion. They have just produced a “delightful” little 32-page book for five to eight-year-olds. 

The theme of the book is that abortion is a “superpower,” and the title says it all: “Abortion Is Everything.” 

The book essentially teaches little children that abortion is a “superpower” that allows them to determine what their life is going to be like and who gets to be in their life, and they are a “superhero” for using this “superpower.” 

The whole book is dripping with evil but also dripping with irony. 

They’re talking to little human beings who just 60 months ago were inside the womb. The only reason they’re able to read the propaganda book by Shout Your Abortion is because their mothers didn’t “shout their abortions.” But they don’t want kids to ever make that mistake again. 

Their mothers may have rejected this so-called “superpower” and given them life, but they’re telling kids, “We want to make sure you, little child, know that the only way you can be ‘super’ is to kill the child you’ll carry or father in the future.”

I know I don’t get to decide who goes to Heaven, and that’s probably a good thing. But my view is that there will be a special place in Hell set aside for these haters of God’s creation.

The Anti-Cop Party

Four Democrat senators—Durbin (IL), Merkley (OR), Van Hollen (MD), and Wyden (OR)—sent a letter to Interior Secretary Doug Burgum yesterday. Members of Congress communicating with administration officials is nothing unusual. But the content of their letter was very unusual.

These Democrat senators made it clear that they want the beefing-up of the U.S. Park Police in Washington, D.C., to stop and stop now. These senators are not fooled by Donald Trump’s “law and order” message. They’re convinced that the Park Police is part of Trump’s authoritarian agenda to seize control of our nation’s capital. 

Seriously. You can’t make this stuff up! Democrats think the Park Police is the new “Gestapo.”

The staff members of these idiots walk the streets of Washington. They go to parks for lunch. They go out on dates and out for dinner. But even on something like public safety, they will not make common cause with Republicans. They want the streets of every city in America to be as unsafe as possible.

So, we’re back to how are we supposed to find common ground when we disagree on the most fundamental issues?

The primary purpose of government is to ensure order and safety. Democrats don’t believe that. They believe it is to run healthcare and redistribute wealth. We believe the major purpose of government is to get criminals off the streets. They believe the major purpose of government is to make sure criminals aren’t in jail very long.

That brings us to the premier battle of today, which is the battle over immigration. 

The Lawless Left

Virtually every major city and some states run by Democrats are in open rebellion against the federal government’s efforts to enforce the law. (See next item.) I don’t see an obvious solution to the impasse. 

We have been told over and over for years by the courts that the enforcement of immigration laws was the sole responsibility of the federal government. Now that a new administration is actually enforcing immigration laws, all of these federal judges are ignoring everything they have said over the years. 

In its own way, this is a larger rebellion than what occurred in the lead-up to the Civil War. It is much more widespread. It involves much more of the population centers of the United States. And unlike the slavery movement, it is supported by the media, popular culture, and parts of the judiciary.

Another Avoidable Crime

Oscar Solarzano was formally arraigned yesterday in Charlotte, North Carolina, on charges of attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon. He’s charged with stabbing a passenger on the city’s commuter train last week.

The fact that he was on the train at all is shocking because Charlotte’s “tough” city officials had banned him from the train months ago. How on earth did he get on again? (That’s sarcasm, of course.)

Federal immigration police have issued a detainer to local authorities to turn Solarzano over, as he is in the country illegally after being deported twice. But federal officials are not confident that Charlotte law enforcement will comply because the city has a long record of not cooperating with federal immigration authorities. 

In fact, Mecklenburg County Sheriff Garry McFadden tried to blame the federal government for the stabbing. 

At a news conference, McFadden said, “We also need to be honest about the immigration part of it. You know, we want to blame the sheriff. Well, you deported this person twice. Does that really work, or has it worked?”

Well, it doesn’t work when you have an open border. It works now when the border is closed. Thank you, President Trump!

One can go insane trying to answer the nonstop stupidity that comes out of the mouths of leftists. 

Sanctuary city policies are not protecting anyone. They are putting Americans at risk by creating avoidable crimes committed by criminals who never should have been here.

Vermont Virtue Signaling

Here’s another example of the battle between the “two Americas.” Only one side can win the culture war, and the one that wins gets to teach our children. 

Winooski is a small city in Vermont that is making big headlines today. Winooski is already on the map for electing an all-LGBTQ city council. That council looked at the terrible things happening in “Somaliland,” once known as Minneapolis, and they are just horrified. 

Now, you may think I’m talking about the massive fraud, waste, and abuse that was tolerated by Democrat politicians in the city and state. No, I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about how badly they think the Somalis are being treated. 

Winooski city leaders are furious that Somali fraudsters are being captured and taken out of the country. So, in a major demonstration of virtue signaling to Winooski’s Somali residents, they raised the Somalian flag yesterday next to the American flag. 

I am talking with a lawyer to see if there is any downside, but I am considering setting up a GoFundMe page for a trip to actual Somalia for these city council members. They can wave their LGBTQ pride flags as they tell Somalians about all the things they are doing for the Somali community in America. I think it would make an interesting follow-up story!

“Reaganomics On Steroids”

Cathie Wood is a well-known investor. She is very aggressive in her investment strategy and was an early advocate of AI and Bitcoin. But she has a lot of critics. 

The reason I bring her up is that in recent remarks, Wood said that we have been in a “rolling recession” for the last three years—the last two years of Joe Biden’s presidency and the first 10 months of the new Trump administration. Wood added that manufacturing in America did not grow in those years. 

Well, that’s changing. We’re coming out of that “rolling recession” now, and it will become more and more obvious in 2026. 

Wood described President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill as “Reaganomics on steroids.” She predicted that over the next few years, we will be in one of the biggest economic and technology booms the U.S. has ever seen. Just something to ponder today.
