Obama vs. Freedom Of The Press

Help us stop Obama's fundamental transformation of America.

Barack Obama made a lot of promises to the American people. His promise about being able to keep your current health insurance if you liked it was labeled PolitiFact's "Lie of the Year."

Obama Does It Again

If you need another reason to donate right now to our "throw the bums out" campaign, read this.

Late yesterday afternoon, the Obama Administration announced that it had delayed Obamacare's employer mandate yet again. That is the second time in a year that the employer mandate has been delayed. Reports indicate that the delay came as a result of pressure from the business community to "...

Iran Meets Obama's "Open Hand" With A Clenched Fist

Barack Obama is committed to fundamentally transforming America in more ways than one. Beyond his big spending, big government, quasi-socialist domestic schemes, his foreign policy is fundamentally weakening America's position in the world. Nowhere is this more evident than his policy toward the Islamic Republic of Iran.

For thirty years, American presidents of both parties, with strong bi-partisan support...

Obama's Prayer Breakfast Hypocrisy

As I mentioned in yesterday's report, I had the privilege of attending the 62nd annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. There were several inspirational speakers, scripture readings and stirring performances.

Of course, remarks by the president of the United States are always a big moment at any event. But sitting there with thousands of people listening as Obama talked, I was stunned by the hypocrisy. Here are a few...

Obamacare: A Disincentive To Work

The Obama White House and its Democrat allies are scrambling to respond to this week's Congressional Budget Office report finding Obamacare will cost more than two million jobs. The best spin they can come up with is that because of Obamacare's massive taxpayer-funded subsidies, some people will choose to work less. The left-wing New York Times labeled this "a liberating result of the law."

If you are among the...

No Confidence

It is a good thing Barack Obama does not have to face the voters again. Americans have lost confidence in him.

This week CNN released the results of a poll conducted after Obama's State of the Union address. The public split in its overall reaction to the speech -- just 44% were "somewhat positive," while 38% were "somewhat negative."

By a 3-to-1 margin, the public felt Obama's policies were "too liberal...

Obamacare A Job Killer

Conservative critics of Obamacare warned all along that the Democrats' health care scheme was a job killer. Those arguments were brushed aside in 2010 when Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid rammed Obamacare through Congress without a single Republican vote. Then in 2011 the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office issued a report indicating that Obamacare would reduce employment by 800,000 workers.

Of course, Democrats rejected those claims, and it turns...

Blame Bush. . .Fush. . .Fosh. . . Fox!

Bill O'Reilly's interview with Barack Obama last night showed Obama is changing. Instead of blaming Bush for his failures, Obama zeroed in on Fox News as the culprit.

Ten minutes to interview the president of the United States is a tough task. O'Reilly conducted a tougher interview than Obama usually experiences. Nonetheless, I thought O'Reilly could have done a lot more.

For example, O'Reilly asked...

House Immigration Principles

Hold on to your hats, folks. House Republican leaders released their immigration reform principles at their caucus retreat yesterday, and all signs suggest we are headed for a bumpy ride. Reports indicate that the discussion over the principles revealed deep GOP divisions over policy and timing.

It is clear from reading the principles that House leaders were struggling to balance competing interests. There is a lot of language about border...

Obama's Iran Threat

I want to revisit one of most significant statements Barack Obama made in his State of the Union address. Toward the end of his remarks, while discussing his foreign policy agenda, Obama warned Congress that he would veto sanctions legislation against Iran. Here's what Obama said:

"But let me be clear: if this Congress sends me a new sanctions bill now that threatens to derail these talks, I will veto it. For the...
